When Gabrielle left sunny California bound for the energy of Manhattan, she was willingly leaving the life she had known for the new life she would create. But was she really leaving something behind or was she running away?

On the outside, Gabrielle Willis has it all under control. A new life in Manhattan, a great roommate, and a good job. But she is haunted. Haunted by a memory she's tried to forget and by a family who's abandoned her. But what happens when what's on the outside is only an illusion and in perfect contradiction to what's buried deep within?

Enter Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell. Just what Gabby wants, or so she thinks. But when she meets Brad Dixon, the sweet guy with the crooked smile, he begins to make her see that the very thing she is trying to run from is the very thing that just may push her to see the light.

Star Rating: 4 out of 5 Heat Rating: SIMMERING At 25, most of us have never gone through what life has thrown at Gabby.  LOVE LOVE is a story that follows Gabby through the process of losing her first love and discovering that it is okay for life to go on, and when ready, love will find you again.  This was an unexpected story for me.  Reading the synopsis and watching the book trailer (man I love a book trailer!) I was expecting an angsty, drama filled story about a girl who has to choose between two men, Dane and Brad.  I was wrong, way wrong.  Love Love is a book chock full of emotion, but the emotions this story brings out are deep, and touching not dark and full of drama.   This is a not a book about a female lead juggling and torn between two guys, this is a story about Gabby who thinks she only can handle one thing (Dane) while at the same time the one thing she doesn't think she will ever get the chance at again begins to grow (Brad).   Dane and Brad come into Gabby's life pretty much on the same day and they are polar opposites.  Dane is the hot, wealthy, guy that pretty much is looking for a good time and only a good time.  He goes for what he wants and takes.  Brad is the quirky, sweet and adorable guy that you are friends with first, the man you can be completely yourself around without having to pretend you are more sophisticated that you are. Gabby is an interesting character, she is a very real.  She is clutzy and loves to just be herself (candy and caffeine addiction included).  Gabby is going through the motions of life, everyday the same, she isn't ready to let go of her past yet.  Then one day she wakes up and meets Brad and then Dane. Gabby decides that Dane would be a good distraction, a way to fill the void without risking her heart. (Happy Sexing!) I hate to say this, but I really like Dane (in the beginning), he was direct, dirty and HOT.  I really wanted more with Dane and Gabby and would have liked to see that get more attention especially towards then end (I get he wasn't the man for her, but man I love a bad boy).  Brad comes into Gabby life as her caffeine hook up (he owns a coffee shop) and slowly intertwines himself in Gabby's life.  He makes her smile and gives her a reason to get up with a smile everyday.  Brad is a romantic, poetic and almost too good to be true man.  Luckily, he is a little goofy and that helps him from being too good to be true and being throughly adorable.  (I love the superhero references) “I’ve been wondering something all night.” My eyes go wide. “Have you ever been kissed by a superhero before?” My mouth won’t move, so I simply shake my head back and forth. His eyes are burning up my lips as he breathes, “because you’ve never been truly kissed until you’ve been kissed by a superhero.” This was a great, sweet read that lets us follow Gabby and her struggles to let go of the past and embrace the future. "I don’t know, Gabby. We’re all damaged, right? It’s what we make of the wreckage that matters." Beth Michele has written a great book that truly put the ROMANCE at the forefront of this contemporary romance novel!  I found myself sighing and wishing my husband would read the Brad character and take some notes and how to be romantic.  As much as I enjoy my bad boys, Beth has given the spotlight to the good guys and I fell in love.   Love Love is definitely a book that will leave you smiling and completely satisfied with the way it all unfolds.  If you are looking for sweet, romantic, and slightly goofy then this is a book that needs to go into your Kindle ASAP!

Cute story, but the love interest starting getting on my nerves after a while. It's nice for a guy to be emotionally aware, but crying all thr time, watching chick flicks, and constantly spouting poetry gets annoying. I would have liked more strength in the lead character.

Love Love = 3.5 sweet sweet stars.  Love Love is a feel-good, romantic comedy-type that makes you "aww"! It is sprinkled with emotional moments: sad, happy, funny - a nice mix that makes it a perfect weekend read. Gabby is a complicated character - who wouldn't be after losing the love of their life? - but she is oddly relatable and likable, even with what she's been through. She's no pushover - she knows what she wants, and she goes for it. Her great loves are coffee, chocolate, candy, Converse and Clark. When one of these things is permanently removed from her life, she is left with a sadness that she can only numb and nothing else. What better to numb the pain than a fling? Enter Dane. As far as Dane's storyline... well, I was kind-of waiting for something that never happened. I think he was supposed to be a total player, but something about his interactions with Gabby made me think he was actually a good guy with a bad rap. When [*spoiler alert* he turned out to be engaged, I figured it was the result of a miscommunication or cuckoo ex - but that never came to light. I guess in the end, he really was just a player.] Brad was Dane's counterpart: a true gentleman. He got to know Gabby for who she really was, took care of her when she was sick - the type of man any girl would be lucky to meet. He owns the coffee shop that she frequents and Gabby catches his eye. As they get to know each other, he remembers the tidbits of information Gabby drops. When their relationship starts to develop (slowly, which was nice), he actually does something with those tidbits. Things that made me swoon! He was adorable and just as sugary-sweet as Clark. Between these two, I almost got a toothache. On a side note: I think the cover is perfect for this book and is one of the best I've seen lately. It definitely caught my eye. My itty-bitty and completely personal gripe: like Gabby, I am a SoCal girl who moved to NYC for part of my 20's. Most of the NYC description (not all) painted it as a dirty, smelly place. It can be that way, but in my experience, there's more magic in NYC than anywhere else I've been. Especially in the little coffee shops like Brad's. I'd like to have seen more of this. Overall, it has my recommendation!

JUST BOOKED, provides a honest review. LOVE LOVE is the perfect title for Beth Michele’s new romance novel, because it depicts how our hearts not only allows us to love once in our lives but also sometimes grows even larger as we live new experiences allowing us to love again. Please note this is a beautiful LOVE LOVE story, that will you feeling many emotions as the characters did, you will find yourself CRYING, LAUGHING, CRYING, and FALLING in LOVE repeatedly. Gabrielle “Gabby” Willis is a 22 years old young women graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Gabby has also been dating her high school sweetheart, Clark Thompson, for seven years and they are ready to take the next step in their lives, when tragedy strikes.  Finding it difficult to handle the tragedy, she moves to New York City with her best friend, Fran Heller, which she has known since they were in fourth grade and is now a graphic designer. They have been living in New York City for three years and Gabby has created a routine of monotonous numbness by waking, drinking coffee, taking the subway, working, eating candy, watching movies, and sleeping, but one day she changes her routine. While changing her routine she meets two wonderful men who change her life: Dane Rhodes, the green-eyed panty dropper HOTTIE and Brad Dixon, give me a shot of him and his dimple in my latte, CUTIE. Both men could not have been any different from each other, but they help Gabby move on with life and mend a shatter heart that she guards with high walls. Will Gabby learn how to feel love again or will she encase her heart with frigid numbness? Will Dane or Brad be able to mend her shattered heart and finally be able hold heart again in their hands? Or will tragedy strike again, and leave Gabby devastated for a second time?  I will conclude my review with the song Brad hummed to Gabby with their first dance called, Lover, You Should've Come Over. “It's never over, my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder It's never over, all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her It's never over, all my blood for the sweetness of her laughter It's never over, she's the tear that hangs inside my soul forever” – Jeff Buckley Maybe Brad chooses this particular song to hum to Gabby because not only does it displays his actions for his feelings, but what he is willing to offer for the feelings he cannot deny from his HEART. Love Love is a BEAUTIFUL romantic story, so I give Love Love 4 CANDIED STARS!

My Thoughts: I am always pleasantly surprised when I come across a story that fully allows me to immerse myself in it and grow to care for the characters. Love Love did not disappoint on that score. I absolutely devoured this book from cover to cover...well ecover to ecover :). Ms. Michele did a wonderful job crafting a story that was heart-wrenching and heartwarming, and at the same time sweetly sexy and full of passion. The story opens with a prologue of Gabby Willis who is graduating from UC Berkeley. Gabby has high hopes and expectations for her future and is beyond thrilled to be starting the next chapter of her life. Gabby's graduation is attended by her barely there parents and her best friend, Fran Heller, and the love of her life, Clark Thompson, her high school sweetheart. After graduation, Gabby and company party it up at her parents house. The very same parents who do not approve of Gabby's relationship with Clark because they are high-society and he and his family are middle class, every day people. Gabby's mother makes no secret about her disdain for THAT boy when she interrupts Gabby during the party to chastise her for some faux infraction. Clark swoops in and rescues her, drawing her away from the vitriol being spewed by her mother. After briefly returning to the party, Gabby and Clark make their escape from the party to go to his house for some alone-time. Gabby and Clark are so sweet together because they are so in love and you can feel the earnestness of that love pouring off the pages of the story. Yes, they are young in age but their love has endured high school and college and the two of them recognize their soul mate in the other. At his parent house, Clark asks Gabby to marry him in the sweetest of ways and she happily agrees envisioning their future and their life together. But sadly, fate rips Clark away from Gabby, leaving her devastated and heartbroken at the loss of her one true love. Fast forward three years Gabby and Fran are still thick and thieves and are now living in New York City. Fran is a graphic artist and Gabby is an assistant to an interior designer. She loves the job and her zany boss and she hopes that she will one day be an interior designer as well. One day on her way to work, Gabby meets two men who leave an indelible mark on her and cause her to rethink everything she has thought about in the past years. They will test her, challenge her, and seduce her in their own unique ways. But in the end...only one will have her heart. I loved the unexpected turns taken in Love Love. When Gabby meets Dane Rhodes, I originally thought that he was her slam dunk. Handsome. Rich. Sexy. Sophisticated. He wined and dined Gabby. He was everything a girl could ever want, right? Wrong!!! Dane was self absorbed and selfish. I absolutely loathed how he treated Gabby as if she was not more than an easy lay with his, "meet me in my hotel room" demands. He was scum...especially when the reader finds out why he acted the way he did later on in the story. But, Gabby is not without fault here too. She allowed Dane to treat her such because she wasn't looking for more than a physical connection with him. Her heart still belonged to Clark and she had no plans on changing that reality. EVER! Enter Brad Dixon I loved Brad because he was truly the unexpected hero of this story. He was sweet, funny, understanding, and caring. He worked at the local coffee shop Gabby frequented and their casual acquaintance quickly settled in an easy friendship. Brad was the bright spot in Gabby's day. She looked forward to seeing him, talking to him, and laughing with him...even more than her Dane time. While she and Dane were burning up the sheets, Brad was unexpectedly winning her heart. Brad provided support to Gabby when she reached the point where she realized that she had to end things with Dane. Not to pick up on Dane's leftovers but to be a true friend to Gabby. His friendship and his concern chipped away at the icy layer that encased her heart. When Gabby and Brad start dating hanging out as friends, she begins to see a different side to him. A side that she found sweet, sexy...sidenote: he had a dimple *sigh*...and easy to be around. Brad fed Gabby's sweet tooth and spoiled her in a way that did not involve lavishing her with things. And let me just say this. I have ready plenty of Fifty Shades-ish type books and pleasantly Love Love was NOT that kind of story. Brad was an every day average guy. He didn't have any drama. He wasn't damaged. He wasn't broken. He won Gabby's affection by being gentle, sweet, and loving. There comes a point in the story where Gabby and Brad separate because she couldn't handle her feelings for him. She felt that her feelings were somehow a betrayal of her feelings for her beloved Clark. Can, I just say...OMG...I want a Brad! He was soooo sweet. He did not give up on Gabby. He sent her flowers, and treats, and letters. The letters he sent broke my heart. Seriously...I was a bit weepy because they were so sweet. For anyone looking for a sweet and romantic story, Love Love is the story for you. You will love it if you read it!

I love love this book! I finshed it in one day! It was fast paced and funny, and sad and sweet. What else can you ask for? Oh yeah, a totally swoon worthy yet sweet and adorable book boyfriend, Brad. I love this guy! I absolutely loved their first date, sweet and cute and funny, I felt like I was there with them. I loved how their relationship built slowly, instead of just jumping into bed, so that you feel that build up right along with them. Funny how hot wall sex with Dane doesn't even compare to a simple kiss from Brad. God, I'm such a girl.  This book was like a great rom-com, that leaves you with that great happy feeling, and I haven't shaken it yet, not that I want to.  The only thing I didn't love was the drama around Gabby's roommate. That felt unnecessary, and overdramtic but I guess its supposed to show that everybody has some messed up stuff in their life, that nobody's life is perfect. But I loved Brad and Gabby enough that I didnt let this hiccup spoil it.  Just a fun, happy, funny read that will have you smiling for days. Highly recommend!

4.5 Stars OK, where do I start with this? This will honestly be a harder review to do without giving anything away but I will do my best. So, the story...it was really a beautiful read. I had such a huge grin on my face at the end. Love Love was a really great read. The prologue sucked me in. I instantly fell in love with the main character Gabby. She is a feisty little thing and I loved her. Her relationship with her best friend, Fran is so awesome. I seriously wish I had a relationship like that. Fran is there for Gabby to lean on but what was different in this story is the Fran leans on Gabby A LOT, with her own little story mixed in that made her even more important and their relationship  even more admirable. So Gabby meets two men in the same day. We have Brad who works at the coffee shop she heard about. He has soft brown eyes, shaggy brown hair and the cutest dimple. Then, we have Dane. A sexy black haired, green eye god who screams sex. Believe it or not, this is not a story about a love triangle...which I seriously thought it was. “I lean against Brad's shoulder and he softly kisses my hair. Bringing my hand to his chest, I feel the rapid beat of his heart."   So, Brad....LOVE HIM...LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM. He is sweet, caring, adorable and hilarious. Well, a superhero. The ultimate swoonworthy guy. I was rooting for him the second she saw him...oh the dimple. Everything that came out of the mans mouth just made me fall harder and harder for him. He is just so freaking cute. ADORABLE but whoa boy sexy. “You're not ready for me yet, as much as I wish like hell you were. But I'm patient. I'd wait forever to be the one who gets to hold your heart.”  He is just so caring for Gabby and what she has gone through and is still dealing with. I think I am so used to alpha males that this was a really nice change. I don't want to leave Dane out. He obviously about my ranting is my favorite of the two but there was just something about their relationship that was eh. I mean apparently the guy has moves but nope...I was sold on Brad. “I spy with my little eye, something that is so beautiful, it leaves me breathless."  " Swallowing hard, I take a deep breath and answer, "Trump Towers?" When I turn my head to look at him, I see serious brown eyes staring back at me."   "Nope... you.”   The story is told in Gabby's POV which completely worked for this story. It is contemporary romance and I'd say New Adult. I'm going to end this now since I pretty much rambled the entire review. I really recommend this and think everyone will love it.

Wonderful debut novel for Beth Michele!!! A 4.5 stars!!!! I really enjoyed this story - it had such wonderful, relatable characters. Gabby Willis has had more than her share of heartbreak in her life. Her parents aren't exactly the nuturing type. If not for her wonderful boyfriend, Clark, and her BFF, Fran - Gabby wouldn't be able to get through the day sometimes. Just when Gabby's life seems to be going in the right direction - a terrible tragedy occurs and leaves her devastated! Flash forward : Gabby is in New York with a new job, living in an apartment with Fran & trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart and move on. Her career is going great & she loves her job with an interior design company. As fate might have it, Gabby meets 2 different men on the same day. Both men are destined to be turning points in her life that will test her heart & soul to the breaking point. Which one will she truly fall for and be willing to really LOVE LOVE after her heart has been so completely shattered in the past??? And when she finally opens up to the possibility of love again - will she be destroyed again by having that love ripped away by another terrible turn of events??? Bravo Beth!!! A job well done!!! Looking forward to many more stories from this wonderful new author!!!

Beth Michele's debut Novel LOVE LOVE felt like a breath of fresh air to me! I fell head over heels for the main characters, Gabby and Brad as I found them very real and loveable. I would be friends with them. Their friends were cute and quirky as well. There are also certain characters that I felt conflicted over, but that's what made this a great story to me! It was unexpected, and strayed from predictable, which I found refreshing. As romantic as a book called LOVE LOVE is, there are also several deep, realistic and sometimes hard facets of life addressed too. That made for an interesting balance, and I really appreciated it. I read a lot of books, and LOVE LOVE took me into it's strong embrace, and will forever be carried in my heart. Read this book!
