Overview

There is a serial killer loose in America’s National Parks. Greyson Beauchene, Head Ranger of Alaska’s Denali National Park is certain he will never have to deal with that because his park is too ‘out of the way.’ However, Ranger Beauchene soon finds out he is dead wrong.
Greyson and his two assistants are flown by helicopter into a remote section of the park where hikers have found a casket, one of the biggest indicators the serial killer has found Denali. Greyson’s team is joined by one incredibly irritating and extremely demanding FBI Profiler and her two Agents. Very good at what she does, Aspen O’Connell sets out to take control of the crime scene and everyone involved in it, and Greyson is having none of it.
Greyson, Aspen and their teams must work together to find this killer before he kills again. Events move quickly as the group pieces together clues from the crime scene and a profile is established.

This free, 200 page serial killer mystery takes in Denali Park,Alaska. The FBI, CSI, Rangers, a profiler and a tracker as well as local police are involved. As with most free books, there are some editing issues. I did not care about any of the characters, except for the tracker. He had the most personality and hardly ever spoke. The profiler was one of main characters and I was rooting for the killer to take her out. She was really annoying even after she tried to be considerate. There is murder, other violence, which was pretty graphic at times, some cursing, no sex, too much coversation and not enough action. There are a few hot, lusty kisses and some sexual thoughts. Some subjects drag on for ever, I found this book boring and unrealistic. This book is incomplete, many threads are left dangling and there is no conclusion what so ever. The book just stops. I imagine there will be a sequal. I for one will be neither buying, nor reading it. There were so many great reviews for this book, I thought it would be a suberb read. Instead it was like going to the dentist, painful while it lasts and then glad when it is over. Not chick lit. For ages 16 and up. AD

This was ok, i have read better. I felt the romance was rushed and the ending sucked as there was no resolution. The FBI profiler was so gung ho to catch the killer then suddenly she wasnt?

This book is fine, but it goes on for a bit too long. I expected more of a payoff with this length.  The idea of them falling in love so quickly at first sight, especially when they have just met and don't like each other is a bit much too.

Huge cliffhanger at the end that I didn't expect. The characters are enjoyable. Can't wait to start the next book.

Love Me Anyway is well written with great characters and plenty of action. But.. I almost stopped reading when a very polite man who appears comfortable wit self becomes "immediately" infatuated with an over zealous, self involved woman. It would have been much more believable if they had "grown"on each other for awhile first. Even with this I was ready to buy book two until I read the write up! It sounds almost identical to the first book.... !!!!

After I attempted to read the book and I even went back to re-read portions to make sure I didn't jump to conclusions on the writing, plot and characters, I had to put it down. I read everything through but the longer I read, the angrier I became at the total presentation of this book. The basic plot had possibility but the lack of depth of characters, the syntax, the overuse of descriptive narrative drove me crazy.Other than the tracker, the characters were simple and trite. Maybe a rewrite would help and I truly hope with experience the author will continue to improve.

The murder mystery part was ok - at leasr a little different from the usual - but the romance was cheesy....adults who can't even focus on their jobs because their hearts are all a-flutter...and the FBI was completely incompetent. Predictable and middle schoolish.

Needs better proof reading. Constant incorrect shifts in verb tenses. Otherwise, an enjoyable story.

Horrible characterization, predictable plot, descriptions awful,I feel like this was poorly researched and written by a middle schooler the idea that it's the first in a trilogy is nightmare inducing

Had soo much potential but fell flatter than a pancake. Seemed to rush towards a dramatic conclusion, but did not conclude. Almost like the author got tired and instead of writing the trite "and they lived happily ever after", the story ebded with a soft cliffhanger

I really enjoyed this read. Nice romance in the middle of the suspense, without sex.
