Forgiveness is the most difficult thing to give but the most cherished thing to receive.
A story from The Perfect Gift
Beloved mate to two wolves, Heather lived an idyllic life until hunters destroyed the pack’s peaceful existence.

If you are looking for another one of Bank's spicy romances, prepare for a change up. The story is charming and sweet, focusing on the forgiving part of love instead of passion. Unfortunately, the story is a little too sweet and the characters lack true depth, especially the main character's whose behavior after being attacked are nowhere near what you would expect from a victim of such an attack. The forgiveness comes to easy, and it ruins it for me, but if you are the type of person who enjoys a quick QUICK resolution that occurs in a matter of a few pages, this short story is a great pick for you.

Unlike other Maya Banks books, this almost sweet book is devoid of any heat! The characters do not share so much as a kiss. No passion, no steamy scenes equals a book that is sadly unlike what the loyal Maya Banks reader has come to expect. Skip and save your money!

Characters could use more depth and so could the story. My least favorite story by Maya Banks.

Readers who open a Maya Banks book, expect a certain level of erotica, in my opinion. This has none. The plot is weak and predictable.

So, this was more of a feel good read. There were only a few pages, over 50 i think, but it was very sweet. However, no lovemaking scenes occurred. Still a recommendation though!

This book was fun, but it was very very short. I would recommend buying her Colter's Woman instead. More pages for your buck.
