This is THE book for all who care for someone battling PTSD! As a wife of a veteran with PTSD, Welby O'Brien is REAL. You will see you are NOT the only one, not helpless and not hopeless. I like how she says,"It takes an exceptional person to love a warrior, especially a warrior whose war will never cease."

This is the best book on PTSD I have read!!! If you have a veteran or active duty military loved one in your life, YOU NEED THIS BOOK! Tremendously helpful in really practical ways. Welby O'Brien and others share real questions that we all ask silently but she bravely and helpfully offers answers that truly help. Many other books on PTSD are so depressing, but this one offers something positive in the pain and mystery of PTSD. And you know you are not alone!!!

We as wives and loved ones have been desperately needing this book!! Sometimes it feels like we are all alone, stumbling alone in the dark, trying to love our veterans who have PTSD, but starting to burn out big time. Maybe wanting to run, or just bag it all. Can we do it? Yes!! Welby O'Brien helps us because she is living it too! And what a comfort to know there is guidance and a light ahead. Really real stuff in here, and encouraging! Makes me want to just hug him but also care for ME too!! Thanks for the hope. I needed it!

This book is a must read for those who have a family member that suffers from the isvisable wounds of Post Tramatic Stress Disoer (PTSD) and/or Tramatic Brain Disorder. (TBI). It offers hope and encouragement to the loved ones of us vets that suffer from PTSD / TBI. As a vet wo battles PTSD I also recommend this boot to veteran also. This is also a good book for those woh want to understand what it is like to have a loved on suffering fron the invisible wounds of PTDS/TBI. As a vet who suffers from PTSD this is one of the two book I recommend to read. Thank you to Welby O'Bryan for the courage and dedication to write this book to help others.
