A violent tropical storm is nearing Key West, and Joy, a young waitress, worries for her boyfriend who may be out at sea - she doesn't really know.

Joy's friends can't seem to help her to stop worrying about Brian. But a new customer who arrives at Joy’s restaurant, a handsome and charming southerner by the name of Derrick, allows Joy's worrying mind to get a much-needed break. Yet, is it her mind that gets a break, or will it be her heart as well?

The storm eventually passes, and in its wake, Joy learns of a shocking betrayal by two people she trusts the most.

Does love conquer all? Can Joy forgive, or will the truth send her rushing into the arms of the one who deserves her more?

In the wake of the storm that only passed the Keys but did no harm to its residents, Joy finds herself on an adventure she has not gone on before—finding romance of a lifetime. She doesn’t know where this new experience with Derrick is taking her, but she is willing to let him stir the sails.

As Joy and Derrick find their way into the turbulent waves, others struggle to find their place. Stormy isn’t sure receiving Brian into her home is a good idea. In trying to find a woman he meets online, Joe may have stumbled upon someone who is right for him. Kevin has fallen into dangerous waters. And three Arab brothers are on a sky-ping mission, a mission that is more than what it appears to be....

The Fantasy Fest is about to arrive in the Key West, and there’s nothing like a festival—a free season for whatever you desire—that can make even the most stringent forgive and forget their troubles. At least, for ten days.

As the Fest comes near, Joy and Derrick’s relationship is also fast approaching another phase.

Joe is trying hard to be careful about his budding relationship with gentle Julie. She is very special, and he is planning to make their first date a perfect day for her.

Vinnie has to find a way to get back home after his misfortune in the beginning of his own adventure. The festival has come, and he has to get crafty to be able to at least buy himself a beer to celebrate.

Meanwhile, the Brothers Aziz struggle to get their plans together for that perfect day that they will honor Allah….
