Love Sessionby Silk
In a world awash with sugar-sweet R&B, Atlanta's Jonathan Rasboro, Timothy Cameron, Jimmy Gates, Gary Glen, and Gary Jenkins (aka Silk) have done well to survive the cruel passage of time, perhaps surprisingly considering that this, their fourth album, is virtually indistinguishable from their 1992 debut, Lose Control. Although the cover of the Rick James and Smokey Robinson duet "Ebony Eyes" does the original little justice, the rest of the album is as slick as can be, and if you're still in need of freaking close to ten years on from "Freak Me" then you won't go far wrong with this.

I picked up ''love Session'' on yesterday, and have not been able to put it down. I feel like this may be the best album thus far by SILK. My favorites are: ''AHH'', ''Don't Go'', I Didn't Mean To'', I'm Sorry'' and of course the remake of ''Ebony Eyes''. Silk has always been at the top of my list when it comes to male R&B groups. I think with this new album, they will finally get the recognition they deserve
I THINK THEY DID (SILK) A VERY GOOD JOB ON THIS CD.CAME BACK VERY STRONG.BUT I KNOW THIS CD IS GONNA GET ALOT OF HOLLAS!!!YA HEARD!PEACE!!
Even though Tonight will always be the best Silk album ever, this CD was off the chain.I'm a man who is a rap fan and I wish I could sing like they do.Why is Silk so underrated?Silk is arguably the best R&B group since the Temptations. They hit the note better than any R&B group out there.
I agree with one of the previous reviews...Silk is the best R&B group since the Temptations! This album is definitely high quality. It's worth the price of the CD just for the song "I'm Sorry" which is probably the best song Silk has ever done. I agree that "Tonight" will always be the best Silk album...but this CD does take them in many ways to another level and new territory. I hope it won't be the last album from Silk.
