Poorly balanced and overlong, but still an interesting read
The overall plot for this story is good but poorly organized. The whole story is longer than necessary and the author spends the first half establishing the relationship and poorly foreshadowing the climax through the repetitious and annoying begging and pleading on the part of Tom and Tyler for Nevvie never to leave them. When the erotic scenes finally appear it is at the expense of plot progression. They come one after the other and are filled with too often repeated phrases.
When the climax finally arrives it seems a bit ridiculous thanks to a near nauseating excess of "I love you"s and "...please don't leave". Nevvie overreacts in extreme, which completely undermines all the relationship building of the first 3/4s, as she clearly doesn't trust enough to doubt her conclusions. Furthermore, Tom's immediate and, ultimately, way over the top angry response to Tyler, does a similar job of undermining all previously established understanding of their relationship, which, admittedly was nauseatingly mushy but had set the entire foundation for the relationship between the three.
The best part of this story is that there is a definite attempt to cover some of the potential pitfalls of a menage a trois romance and it does that as decently as one should expect in an erotica novel. I think the author went overboard trying to make it romantic and complete but it's not completely offensive. A better organized plot and editing would have made this a four star.
