HIS MONEY COULD BUY HER BODY...

The world believed the white slave trade was a relic of the past, and yet Rand Slick knew better. He had reasons for wanting to infiltrate that dark business, but even his wealth and power couldn't provide access to the slave bazaar in a hedonistic country, far away from the relative civilization of Las Vegas. His only way in was with the help of a woman, one with special talents.

BUT A HEART WASN’T SO EASILY PURCHASED.

Being auctioned off as a Wall Street mogul's plaything was the most dangerous assignment of private detective Rachel Tinsdale's career. But perhaps her shadowy client was the true danger. Night after night she ached to share his secrets--and show him the joys to be found in the arms of a woman who was no man's slave.

This was one of the best books I' ve read for the year it was beautiful and exciting and romantic. Rand/ Joshua is perfect because he seemed so real, I almost envied Rachel but they wereperfect for each other two halves of a whole. I highly recommend this book there should be no bad reviews because it was fantastic

Although I did enjoy the story, I felt there were things missing.  The relationship between Rachel and Rand grew from visual lust to a true love with trust.  Because of Rachel's compassion for Rand, it allowed the Joshua of his past come through.  I would have like to see more about the workings of the household with the other slaves.  I was also disappointed with the rescue of Sarah.  It was all accomplished in 30 pages or less.  It felt incomplete. Would have liked more on what happened to all of them when they returned home.  Also an epilogue after Rachel and Rand's wedding would have been a nice addition.

Seriously? I wanted to give it zero stars, but the lowest I can give it is one. The plot was bare boned, but could have been the basis of a pretty good thriller. Instead, it was wasted on a wandering and unbelievable story. Skip this one.
