Meet the Author

Anne Marie Beck has battled dyslexia, most of her life. With the support of her family and the patience of some wonderful teachers, she has achived her dream of becoming a writer. She understands that she is not the worlds greatest editor and she hopes that her readers will judge her books based on the story and not the editing of her book. Readers have to keep in mind that new authors are on a shoestring budget and can't always afford to hire a editor.

Anne Marie lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband, two dog and two cats.
Her favorite hobbies are spending time with her family, reading, writing and photography.

After suffering terrible injury to her shoulder last year, she had to give up her career in the mental health field. She decided to try her hand at writing full time. With the encouragement of her ever growing fan base, she has become a full time writer of romance novels. Anne Marie puts her own flare on her stories and actual writes as real people speak. She loves taming Alpha males and shows her readers, that with the right person anyone can change.

    Needs Work...

The story line was okay, but the writing sounded as if it was being written by a young person (mid-teens?). The editing was horrible, and the first person viewpoint swinging back and forth between the main characters did not work well and was confusing. If the author is serious about writing, she should join a critique group and get some well needed feedback and constructive criticism on her writing.

    What a frustrating read

Kenna and Wyatt's story could have been good but, the constant grammatical errors ruined it. A simple reread by the author would have caught most of them. If an author is that lazy and does not take any pride in their writing, why bother writing? Sheesh! When arsine (a gas) was used instead of asinine, I made the decision that I was not going to waste my time reading the next book in this series. I do not normally bash writers because I always give an A for effort but, there was obviously not much effort put into making this a good read.

    Good but,

This book was a nice short read, however the constent grammar errors made it hard to want to finish. A proof read from the author would have been nice. Especailly when you even call the main character by another name once.

Editor should be fired! Who approved this to go out?

I am very thankful this book was free!!! Although, I am not a writer I would at least proof read my work. I hope you didn't pay anyone to edit this book because you got taken big time. There are more then a few grammical errors involved here! It is a good thing you have a fee friends to lie and say this book was great. Yes, I suffered through the entire book to the end. I will NOT BUY any of your other books. You have a great idea but need A LOT of work! Please invest in a better team that will not lead you wrong. If you are doing all this alone, then get you some help. You really need it!

    Sincerly, Gina

Highly Recommend: for those individuals who love romantic comedies!

Funny and charming story. A few grammer errors but nothing that takes away from the story.

    Not impressed

I could not even finish this book. Too many grammar mistakes for one! It felt poorly written like a teenager writing it. It has a good idea for a story, just poorly executed. I don't feel like the story flowed very well. I mean come on she is coming back home from California and then in one day the boy she has had a crush on for years gets told she has a crush on him, and just like that its reciprocated and they are together? Come on... where's the story and all the steps to get there! Lame...

    Needs an editor

I really hope this is a first attempt. While the words are mostly correct, the punctuation is terrible - quotes around thoughts, commas out of place. For those that are fluent in English - be warned. Someone should have read through it before publishing.

The worst, too many mistakes to enjoy.

This book has so many grammatical errors I couldn't enjoy it. It went beyond misspelled words but just plain run on sentences and wrong word placement. Even once they should've said two but used to. An elementary student wouldn't have made so many mistakes. There must not have been an editor proof read this book.

Had to put it down. So many grammar errors. Cant believe someone would not proof read their story before publishing it. Even just having a friend read it through and making corrections would have been better than the sloppy mess this ended up as.

    An okay story

While the premise was good, the characters needed to be more developed, as did the writing. The story was very poorly edited-- bad grammar, mispelled words ...don't bother.

SOO disappointing. If only the Grammar Gods had seen fit to actually take a look at this it might have been readable. Unfortunately we you have an 'author' who misspells the heroine's name, uses commas like she is throwing rice at wedding, and doesn't even have a solid basic concept of the English language. The effort put into this was minimal at best. What a mess! I will not be reading anything else by this writer.

    Ugh!

I don't know how anyone can read this!! I read to the end of chapter 1. At that point I had reached my limit of mistakes to process. There were 11 misuses of words and more misuse of commas than I could count. Many sentences repeated subjects (names and pronouns) within the same sentence. The author needs a to take a writing development class right after she learns basic grammar. This was a FREE read, but I think I paid too much!

    Dissapointment

This could have been a cute story. The punctuation, spelling, and grammatical errors were just too distrracting. I won't be reading the rest of the books. :-(
