    On going work

    The workbook is a great tool for people who read the original book and would like to continue the work. For me, it helped discover issues I didn't think I had.

    This is self-help? sheesh.

    A counselor recommended I get a work book and try this author. I was not impressed. More like a vicious parody of a self-help book. But then, I would prefer an approach based on reason than invitations to "have fun with my inner child." I got a lot more out of Peter McWilliams, but as far as I know he didn't publish a workbook. Copeland's depression workbook wasn't bad either.

    It All Starts Within All Of Us

    I really appreciated the workbook style approach to self-inquiry and healing. Phemonoe, a mythical Greek poetess is attributed with with saying, "Know Thyself." Today we have another sage for the times, Louise Hay, who offers readers a doorway into the world self-knowledge and ultimately, self-love. The workbook approach allows a deeper exploration and requires interaction, which benefits you because you are involved and not just reading and letting the advice easily slip away. Everyone could benefit from this approach. Enjoy the journey!
