What is more fun than fact?
Fiction can be entertaining but when you read a factual
account and it is funny it is the best.
These stories are told factually as they actually happened.
The only facts that are changed are the names,
to protect the guilty.
Lovely Lolita of Costa Rica
is a collection of true events that, if you are a man reading
this, you could take hope from or maybe warning from.
If you are a woman reading this you could use it to warn
your man or scoff at him for being one.
These events happened only as a result of a man
being a man and possibly a naive one at that.
Read it and wonder if a trip to Costa Rica might be
fun for you.
I was raised in the stick of Alaska. Where if you even saw a woman, let alone a pretty one, it was a hallelujah experience.
Therefore that's enough said about me. Now read this and you'll understand the motivation for this book:
These stories are told as factually as my memory will allow me to dredge them up and I will admit to you right now that this collection may be funnier to a man than to a woman. But at least they will be true and the only facts that are changed are the names, to protect the guilty.
Having said that you might be wondering what is the purpose of this book. Well, it has no purpose. It is just a collection of true events that, if you are a man reading this, you could take hope from or maybe warning from. If you are a woman reading this you could use it to warn your man or scoff at him for being one. These events happened only as a result of a man being a man (gringo in C.R) and possibly a naive one at that.
Lovely Lolita of Costa Rica is not about just one. Therefore their names have been changed to Lolita 1, 2, 3, etc. And you could even see a photo of some of them if you read Costa Rica on the Cusp. Although I have mixed things up enough that you may have trouble placing the photo with the correct Lolita. But saying that may cause you to buy Costa Rica of the Cusp anyway.
And this book doesn’t even include the lovely Lolitas that were of no consequence other than a brief playful episode such as the two that wanted a 3-some. They just happened to be walking by my table in an open air patio type restaurant so I invited them over to join me in a cocktail. It turned into a delightfully delicious cock-tale but I had never seen them before and had no interest in seeing them again. Or the waitress to whom I had given my business card that emailed me with the comment that she “had found her angel” (sugar daddy would have been more realistic). So I took her to heaven with me a couple times and then came back to earth without her.
After reading this, however, you may want more information of the “inside” type on Costa Rica. There are two other books. The first, "Costa Rica on the Cusp", was a project to simply record the many adventures, trials and tribulations I had as a result of my decision to settle in paradise. The next is "So You Want to Live in Costa Rica" which is an "insiders guide" for the person interested in settling in Costa Rica.
