It means long nights undercover and long dances where Kylie’s body tempts him with sensual promises. Dances that leave them both wanting more. Oh goodie! I didn't know this was the start of a series! The other brothers are mentioned in this book but don't really have a role. I am will
definitely read the rest of these books.

This book has a great mistaken identity plot. I thought the heroine could have come clean earlier but this is a small quibble. The writer
creates a wonderful smart hot hero and thoughtful well drawn drawn heroine. The chemistry between them is smokin' and feels real.
The romantic gesture at the end of the book by the hero is one of the best I have ever read.

The secondary characters could have been more richly drawn to make this five star book but overall this book is a charmer where the
murder investigation and the character driven love story balance each other well.

I think this is the third book I have read by this publisher and I have to say I am impressed with Entangled. These are smart sexy
category ebooks that are so readable and yet linger in my mind because of the quality of the writing.

I hate the titles. The books are good, reread able, and memorable. The titles are forgettable and worse than that diminish the books by
making them seem like they came out of a romance novel factory rather than out of the hands of talented writers and staff. Most of these
books won't be romance novel classics, but I bet this line will produce some surprises. However, I know know this publisher will create
many favorites to snuggle up with and reread. It would be great if the titles matched the quality of the book. The blurbs need some work
as well. They are often slightly off.

The cover design gives these books a unique band and when I see these kinds of covers I will think, Oh goodie! I am gonna to likely
    buy that book.

I was given this book for my honest review.

A lot of the story takes place in the strip club where Kylie is

A lot of the story takes place in the strip club where Kylie is covering for her twin sister, Stacy, while she heals from a broken leg. Being identical twins, they pull the whole "switcharoo" thing a lot. However, when Kylie stumbles across a murder scene her first night of being Stacy, she finds herself smack dab in the middle of a investigation. That's when she realizes that the man that she gave a lap dance to and who she couldn't seem to keep her eyes off of, is the detective leading the case on the murders. It seems the murderer has a thing for taking out Stacy's regulars, so Detective Travis, decides to become one of Stacy's regulars in hopes of solving the case.

There are a lot of steamy scenes in this story. Travis pays for a VIP room every night that Kylie works. He has no idea that she's not really Stacy and Kylie has no intention of telling him, considering it would cause Stacy to lose her job and possibly put Kylie in hot water for lying to a cop. So she plays the part and shows Travis what each of her regulars like when they request a private show.

"Unfortunately, "romantic" didn't really describe the current situation. Dirty Dancing for a hot cop who would probably toss her in jail and throw away the key if he knew she's lied about her identity and impeded his investigation? Not romantic. Try scary, dangerous, reckless."

There's also the suspense of the fact that the murderer is still out there with a connection to Stacy. So not only does Kylie have to be cautious, but with Travis playing his role, he puts himself in the hot seat to be next on the killers list. So there is always that game of, who's the murderer?

This may have been the first book by Samanthe's that I've read but it won't be the last. I like that she doesn't go over board in explaining things and has a way of bringing you close to the characters without a lengthy back story. She throws you right into the story and keeps you there right until the last word.

A quiet yoga instructor pretending to be a stripper while her twin sister recovers from a broken leg and a cop, two unlikely pairs, according to Kylie.
There was lust, love, humor, suspense and mystery. I really like this book and the connection between Trevor and Kylie. It was a perfect combination of fantasy and reality. It wasn't just another romance novel, but it had suspense and risk, and I really liked that aspect of it. I found myself wanting to shake Kylie and tell her to open her eyes to what was in front of her, but thankfully it played out perfectly. Lover Undercover is a quick and fun read. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait to read more from Samanthe Beck.

Lover Undercover is the second of Samanthe Beck's books I've had the pleasure to read. I received this book as an ARC. The sexual tension explodes between Trevor and Kylie from the beginning and only gets hotter and sexier as you turn each page. Trevor is totally an Alpha, but so kind and considerate...and sooo hot!!!
He's got a much softer, sweeter side to him, he’s intelligent and perceptive, it doesn't take him too long to figure out the girl “Stacy” he knows is really Kylie, I oved the problems this predictament brings about, both obvious and subtle. I have to admit, the opening scene, when Kylie she does her very first lap dance, with Trevor, had me cracking up, and things just kept getting more and more intense from there.
With plenty of tension, both sexual and otherwise, along with a fabulously done murder mystery plot and add in sharp witted dialogue, chemistry abound between all characters and the humor, this becomes a definite a hit.

    Holly Smokes!!

To be very honest I never really much card for plain romance novels. Yet I was pulled into this one hook line and sunk! I really enjoyed it.
It's a story of Dreams that you aspire to. At least for Kylie and Stacy twines from a small town where no one thought they would amount to much, so on to the big city of  L.A.
When Stacy is hurt at work her twin Kylie takes over her job so they do not end up homeless.
When Kylie/ Stacy stumbles on to a  dead body, she is thrown into Detective Trevor McCade's Investigation of the dead man. As Kylie has to pretend she is her sister Stacy things become difficult as the dead man happens to be a client As Detective Trevor McCade goes undercover at her job to catch the killer their attraction for one other is undeniable. Yet he knows her as Stacy not Kylie will the truth be their undoing? Will they catch the killer??
This is a book worth reading!

For one thing it was a captivating story. I can't resist a captivating story. Who doesn't love a story with twins who switch places to help each other. However, it doesn't bode well for Kylie Roberts who is filling in for her sister, Stacy, at the strip club. You know finding a dead body after work and realizing you met the Detective while at work. Sounds like a lot of fun.

I really like Kylie, because she's the polar opposite of her sister who is identical in looks. I like that she's more than a pretty face and wants to make it on her own. Plus, to prove the people back that she become better than her mother.

Detective Trevor McCade wants to solve this case. However, he's really drawn to Kylie. *possible spoiler* However, he did do a big no-no in the book. My mouth just drop, because it's the first rule when bedding a woman. Don't say another name in the midst of passion. Other than he's a really decent guy.

I did really like Lover Undercover, even when I'm not a fan of women who use their past to avoid a perfect guy. However, I love how Trevor and he really aim to win her heart. Towards the end everything happens really fast, but the ending is still satisfying. So, if you are looking for a hot detective and a twin willing to help her sister even when it's a bad idea, you might enjoy Undercover Lover. Who knows you might uncover a love?

Lover Undercover was one of those books that you absolutely fall

Lover Undercover was one of those books that you absolutely fall for the hero. In this case it is a undercover police officer working for LAPD, named Trevor McCade. He just so happens to catch a show at the upscale strip club, Deuces, when he is captivated by one of the dancers. Kylie Roberts is a sweet girl who always tries to do the right thing, and doesn't let emotions get in the way of what she needs to do to succeed. Yet, there she is dancing on stage taking her clothing off so she is able to pay the bills. Damn her twin sister Stacy for getting hurt on the job and now poor Kylie is stuck going something totally out of her element, and against everything she wanted to be. As she is dancing she scans the audience and one man catches her eye. Later that night something awful happens, Kylie finds a battered dead body behind the dumpsters right out side Deuces. When the police come to question her, there is none other than the sexy stranger that caught her eye while up on stage, and he is with LAPD. She has no other choice but to play the charade that she is Stacy. Eventually Trevor figures out what Kylie was hiding and uses her to help solve the case. During that time they both figure out that there is much more between them than the need to find the murderer.

I thought that this book was very steamy, and who doesn't love a good mystery mixed in with the sexy scenes. It keeps you captivated! Trevor is that fantasy police man that makes your pulse quicken, and what he does in the epilogue is AAAAHHHH! Read this and you wont be disappointed!

This is the second book I¿ve read by Ms. Beck and I have to say

This is the second book I’ve read by Ms. Beck and I have to say she’s my new favorite author! I loved Private Practice and just adored
    Undercover Lover.
In Undercover Lover Kylie Roberts, the good twin has been covering for her sister, Stacy most of their live. When Stacy breaks her leg,
Kylie steps into the role of stripper at Deuces a high end club in L.A. It’s either strip or not make rent. Kylie and Stacy moved from Two Trout, Tennessee to escape their pasts and the stigma of their mother for a new life in LA. Kylie is working towards opening her own yoga studio and Stacy is auditioning for dance/film roles.
When a patron at Deuces is murdered and there's a possible link to Stacy, enter Detective McDreamy in the form of Trevor McCade.
Swoon, ladies, swoon. He was at the club earlier as a patron and was on the receiving end of one of Kylie’s lap dances, but there’s
something about her he can’t put his finger on. An innocence that doesn’t mesh with the girl and the job. (We find out more about
the innocence later.) Called into investigate, Detective McDreamy finds it difficult to hide his feelings for Kylie who he wants to protect
professionally and personally. Kylie finds the deception of lying to Trevor about being Stacy getting harder as she’s scared of what
she feels for him. She’s come to L.A to make something of her life and fears getting sidetracked and not living her dreams.

When the dam finally breaks both are forced to examine what they feel for each other in the cold light of day.
The added sense of suspense in the book kept me up into the small hours. I had no idea where the story was going
and the conclusion was riveting, unexpected and awesome.

Apart from being brilliantly written and plotted, this book has laugh out loud humor. I love when a book can make me laugh.
The emotion Ms. Beck brings to the table are honest and heartfelt. I loved the secondary characters in this book and just adored
the stripper family which brought a charming warmth to the story.

The sex scenes are hot. Fire extinguisher hot and fit with the tone of story.

I loved Kylie and Trevor. Kylie has an innocence but strength to her that I admired. She’s someone I’d like to sit down with over a
glass of wine. Trevor is just smoking hotness, strong, caring but with a strength and kindness that had me melting.
I hope some of the girls at Deuces get their own story by Ms. Beck. I cannot wait to read Stacy’s story and hope it is soon.

This is one fine writer. One page-turning read. You will not be disappointed.

Under the covers, on top of the covers, no where near covers, this book is a fantastic read. (And yes, I did all three.) ;) My favorite part of this book? Kylie and Trevor! The second they meet (and I've just gotta say, Ms. Beck writes the BEST first meets), the chemistry between them leaps off the page and the more they get to know each other, the hotter it gets. The more emotional, too. As the story unfolds, the wonderful secondary characters and the whodunit plot add to the romance in the best ways. I swooned, I laughed, I sighed, and in the end, I smiled.

I loved Lover Undercover and cannot wait for more from Samanthe Beck!

Samanthe Beck just continues to make me happy with her handsome characters, smoldering plot lines, and amazing writing. I cannot believe this is only her second book; she is a terrific writer.

This book held many moments that were filled with these lustful, intense scenes between Kylie and Trevor and I found myself loving every lap dance she gave him. It was super hot. Their tension between each other was perfectly written and solo moments made me forget that there was even a killer out on the loose.

Trevor did it for me. There was just something about his character that made him stand out from most of all the other books I read (and all the main male characters I fall in love with.) He was a good guy, a detective, however he had this bad boy side to him that pushed him farther into doing naughty things with Kylie in the private room. Have I mentioned to you that the private room scenes are super hot? But he was also so sweet to Kylie after she finds the dead body that it is impossible for him not to win your heart over.

So to sum it up, Lover Undercover is amazing if you are looking for a quick, dirty read. And the epilogue left me smiling like a goof ball.

    ## HOLY HOTNESS BATMAN. This book is SPECTACULAR. The story is fun and flirty and the crime-drama element added just the right amount of intrigue. The characters Ms. Beck created were amazing. I adored the heroine and the hero was hotness personified. Omg, I thought I would combust during the private dance scenes. Yowza, those were sexy. I loved this book, as well as Samantha's Private Practice so much, that I already purchased Stacy and Ian's story. Please, keep 'em coming Ms. Beck.

    Fast-paced, Sizzling, Satisfying!!!

OK, first of all, I need to get my swooning out of the way, so here goes...*Swoon* Trevor!!! Holy HELL, he's one HOT detective!!!

Good girl, Kylie Roberts is pretending to be her twin, Stacy, as an exotic dancer at a strip club. Kylie gets more than she bargained for when she discovers a dead body in the parking lot. Suddenly, she's thrown right in the middle of a murder investigation. As she aids Detective Trevor McCade in drawing out the killer, things heat up quickly in the VIP room...with lots of dirty dancing!

Wow! This is my first read from a new author, and I must say that Lover Undercover turned out to be more than what I expected. I found most of the situations Beck put Kylie and Trevor in to be deliciously compromising. Many times you can feel the chemistry between them reach a boiling point. Kylie is adorable, willing to help, and goal-oriented. I loved how Trevor is incredibly perceptive and knew from the beginning that there was something Kylie was hiding. Another thing that I enjoyed was that the mystery part kept me guessing whodunnit. Really, I had no idea until the identity of the murderer was revealed. The epilogue was so cute and satisfying that I couldn't stop giggling and smiling!

Samanthe Beck knows how to create lively scenes that flow seamlessly from one scene to the next making this story fast-paced and engaging. I had so much fun reading this that I'm looking forward to reading her other book, Private Practice. Do you want to escape reality for a bit? Lover Undercover is for those who seek a quick, pleasurable, and steamy read with a little mystery. I guarantee that you'll be swooning for Trevor, too!

    SEXY!

Samanthe Beck's second novel from Entangled's Brazen line is sexy and unexpected in the best of ways. I love the addition of

suspense to Ms. Beck's humor and hot romance. Great primary and secondary characters, interesting plot and Los Angeles is the perfect backdrop for this cop meets erotic dancer story. And yes, the erotic dancing scenes/setting, are, well, pretty erotic, so, it's one hot read, but Kylie and Trevor are also sweet characters who come together (yes, I said it) in a romantic relationship readers will believe in. Only when question: When's the next one? Will it feature Ian and Stacy?

Kylie Roberts has a twin sister, Stacy, who is an aspiring actress. While working toward that goal she is working as a stripper. When a customer got rough with her she ended up with a broken leg. The loss of her job and the good money that she makes would leave both girls without a place to live. So, Kylie, the quiet and shy twin must fill in for her wild sister at the strip club. When leaving the club after her first night on the job, she realizes that she forgot her expensive boots. She headed back to the club for the boots and found a man in the parking lot that had been beaten to death. The police are brought into the story and the investigation begins.
I started reading this book shortly before my normal bed time figuring that I'd read a chapter or two and then go to bed. By 4 AM I realized that I was reading one of those books that you just can't put down. The characterization is wonderful. Sexy, stuborn, wild, Stacy and her twin sister, Kylie who is fairly quiet and shy and the 'smart one' are two of the main characters. Both girls are beautiful, shapley and sexy as hell. Then there is the lead detective, Trevor who falls in love with Kylie. His partner, Ian is a lesser character, but sill in the action. All good people and likable characters. The plot holds mystery, suspense, and a good bit of sexual tension. The authors voice makes this an easy... flowing read. I was pulled into the story imediately and didn't want to let it go.
I recieved an ARC of this book for an honest review. I very honestly loved the book!

Yoga instructor Kylie Roberts is the good twin. The quiet twin. At least she was—until an accident forces Kylie to step into her twin sister’s sexy stilettos at a posh Hollywood “gentlemen’s club" where Stacy usually works as a featured dancer. Until she broke her leg, anyway.

Stacy calls the pole dance a dramatic way to command the audience’s attention and maximize tips, which just shows how different they are beneath their oh-so-similar facades. Kylie can’t think of anything less powerful than twirling around a pole half-naked, for money. Humiliating and terrifying, yes. Empowering? Not so much. But Kylie agrees to go along with it, because they can’t pay the rent without the money her sister makes dancing at the high-end strip joint.

So like a drill sergeant, Stacy coaches Kylie through the ends and outs of the club, the employees, the other dancers, the pole dance, the lap dance, and her regular customers. But nothing can prepare Kylie for the dead body she stumbles upon in the club’s parking lot, or the ridiculously hot undercover detective who insists the killer is targeting her regulars.

Detective Trevor McCade needs Kylie’s help to draw out a ruthless killer. It means long-nights undercover and long private dances where Kylie’s body tempts him with sensual promises. Dances that leave them both wanting more. And it’s only a matter of time before Kylie and Trevor take this undercover operation under the covers…

The 1st book in her McCade Brothers series, Samanthe Beck, once again, delivers a well-written, scintillating story with interesting characters and an engaging plot. A little mystery, a little suspense, and one hot, heroic cop, Lover Undercover is a fun, sexy, sizzling read with a satisfying HEA.
