Loving Jayby Renae Kaye
- LendMe LendMe™ Learn More
One thing Liam Turner knows for sure is that he's not gayafter all, his father makes it very clear hell allow no son of his to be gay. And Liam believes it, until a chance meeting with James Jay Bell turns Liams world upside-down. Jay is vivacious and unabashedly gayfrom the tips of his bleached hair to the ends of his polished nails. With a flair for fashion, overreaction, and an inability to cork his verbal diarrhea, Liam believes drama queen Jay must have a screw loose.
An accident as a teenager left Liam with a limp and a fear of driving. He cant play football anymore either, and that makes him feel like less of a man. But thats no reason to question his sexuality... unless the accident broke something else inside him. When being with Jay causes Liams protective instincts to emerge, Liam starts to believe all he knew in life had been a convenient excuse to stay hidden. From intolerance to confrontations, Liam must learn to overcome his fearsand his fatherbefore he can accept his sexuality and truly love Jay.

I loved every minute of this romantic journey of discovery. Jay is over the top but in a totally good way that just does it for quiet laid back Liam, who, wait, isn't gay. The way they come to mean everything to one another is believable and perfect. It is ok to work things out slowly because it can put you in the best place of your life. Hope I see more of this author soon.
I was not sure about buying this one at first but I am so glad I did. It was a great story!
I love this book. I have read this book over and over. Beautiful love story with lots of laughter and a some real life.
Oh my gosh Renae Kaye does it yet again! Home run out of the park. I do so love her books as they always can make me chuckle, guffaw, snort and laugh out loud. Her characters are rich and very full of life. Liam works numbers for a mining company, was in a car wreck at 16 that left him with a bum leg. Oh he can use it but he's slower than the norm. He is running behind to catch the train to work and dang if there isn't that cute blonde guy he sees every darn day. But he isn't Gay! He has gotten in the habit of referring to the guy as Jay in his head. Oh this is an absolutely charming book.
