I'm a wife, a mom and a dog lover. I'm also a taxi, problem fixer, extreme multi-tasker and my kids biggest fan in anything that they do. I love to write, so when my career suddenly derailed I turned back to my love of writing. I married my high school sweetheart... how cool is that? Margaritas and sarcasm make me happy. Chocolate makes that happiness grow exponentially. People who make me laugh are my favorite kind of people. I believe Karma is a bitch who slaps back hard and that mean people suck. I'm California born and raised, I love the beach but hate the sand. The Acceptance Series is my first series of books with more to come soon.

Sometimes in life it takes an event to make you realize what in life is truly important and the mistakes that are made along the way are part of life’s lesson. They need to be left in the past and help to make you into a stronger person. This is what Kate, Jess, Daniel & Michel has had to learn. D. Kelly has taken me on an emotional journey where I have laughed, cried, and rooted for each member of this group of friends. I have been an #TeamDaniel fan from the beginning. I felt very protected over Kate and I loved the powerful all consuming sexual chemistry that the two brought out in each other. I liked that Daniel showed Kate how to live again and see a future. And when Michael came back into the picture I was not a happy girl. It took me quite awhile to actually like Michael. But in the end Dee showed me that Michael was just a lost soul also that needed healing. I liked the person that Michael became I am sad to see this series come to an end. I have fallen in love with this group of friends. They shared a bond with each other that helped them get through all their trial and tribulations. Thank you D. Kelly for bring us this amazing series of survival and the importance of friendship and love CJ's Book Corner
So many words to describe this book but Fantastic says it all!! I haven't read a book that pulled at my heartstrings like this one did in a long time. I read the first 3 of the series and I had it figured out who Kate was going to choose and almost didn't buy this one because my choice wasn't the one Kate chose. I'm so glad I stopped feeling like a sore loser and purchased Loving Kate. It was the best part of the whole series. It will have you laughing one minute then blubbering the next. If this isn't made into a movie it will be a big loss to the movie industry. I can't wait to read more from this author because she is now in my favorite author pile.
