Overview

When love takes center stage, even the best of scripts might need a rewrite.

Broadway actor Marty Jamison is the reigning queen of musical theater. Saddled with a one-woman show, a mediocre script, and a shoestring budget, Marty hires newly divorced novelist Liz Chandler as writer to bring the show to life. Marty and Liz are soon writing their own personal script, but the budding romance is threatened when Marty begins to question her judgment on past love and of loving Liz.

Enter Felice Tate, a young, talented Off-Broadway actor who is eager to dethrone Marty. As the pressure mounts in Marty’s professional and personal lives, Marty walks out of the show. Will the curtain go up for Liz, Marty, and the nameless play? Or will the lights go out on stage and in Marty’s heart?

Meet the Author

Bobbi Marolt was born in Pennsylvania and upon graduation from high school enlisted in the United States Army, specializing in telecommunications. After an honorable discharge and two and a half years in Texas, she ambled into Connecticut “to go to school.” That stunt landed her between New York State and Connecticut for the next several years, jammed into quality control positions in various types of manufacturing. Read it three times....so far!

Having read Bobbi Marolt's 'Between The Lines' and being "taken" by her wonderful dialogue, I could not wait to read 'Loving Liz'. Marolt creates truly wonderful and memorable characters whose scenes are made vivid with her gift for dialogue. These two books were such great romantic 'reads' that I have marked my calender for the re-release in June of 2012 of her earlier book, 'Coming Attractions' and hope it will be available as an ebook. This is a really talented writer and I hope she has more books to come.
