This is a wonderfully written book about the life of a young widow starting over and a middle aged widower trying to just exist. They both have sworn off the opposite sex due to heartache and disappointment. He is totally engrossed in his work, and she is trying to find a career that will appeal to her. Although he is in the position to help her out, she is dead set against anyone giving her a 'hand out'. Will the two of them learn to put aside their own plans and accept God's will for their lives?
