This book was disappointing. Most of the recipes in it are not things that I would make. there are a few recipes that look good, but overall, I think I will try to return the book.

I have tried low carb living for my husband and I since we both wanted to eat leaner. This book was a total disappointment to me. The recipes may only take minutes, but they are made of ingredients that I don¿t stock and can¿t even find in the grocery store. Also, overall the recipes are rather unappetizing. I recommend flipping through this book in an actual store before buying, so you can decide for yourself whether you would make these types of recipes. So far I haven¿t even used my book.

I have found the recipes in this book to be absolutely FANTASTIC! I bought the book as an effort to eat healthier, and cut back on carbs. I cannot vouch for how effectively this book follows Atkins, Zone, and the like----but the food is outstanding, AND so quick and easy to make. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to make quick meals that taste like they took MUCH longer to make.

These recipes don't include any of the tips and tricks of the other low carb options. I was very disappointed with my copy of this book as there were no recipes that enticed me - or if there were, they were too high carb for me.

This is a nice book with lots of good information for low carb beginners, but if you're like most of us living the low carb lifestyle you need to stay around the 20 carbs per day number in order to lose weight. This book has some good recipes and would be fine for low carb maintenance but is a big dissapointment for anyone following Atkins or other low carb diets. There is mention of low fat several times when the title says 'Low Carb'. So the bottom line here is if you are trying to lose weight the low carb way put this book aside and save the recipes for when you arrive to the maintenance level. The following books are outstanding for low carb counts and delicious tasting recipes, not to mention priced very reasonable on B&N.com.

Ill keep it quick and simple. The meals in the cookbook are like bringing fine dining to your table in minutes. You can actually make a lifestyle off of the recipes. The are delicous and quick.

I purchased this book after seeing Linda Gassenheimer on a repeat episode of 'Cooking Live.' I love it! It's healthy eating made simple. The meals include plenty of healthy carbs (veggies, whole grains), leans proteins and good fats. The recipes are easy and delicious. It makes eating right kind of exciting because the recipes are more than plain old grilled chicken and salad or yogurt or carrot sticks. All recipes are for 2 servings, so they're easy to halve, if needed. I have heartily recommended this to my friends and family.

My husband decided to lose some weight by eating low carbohydrate foods. I went to the internet and did some research then headed to the book store and purchased this cookbook. I love it!!! All of the recipes are super easy to make and take very few ingredients. I love that Linda puts little shortcuts in the book so all your food comes out at the same time. My husband and I have tried all the quick start dinners and they are wonderful. I have recommened this book to alot of my friends after they saw the success my husband and I are having.
