Healthy recipes that are easy to make! I enjoyed the variety of recipes from several different cultures.  I also liked how the recipes required for the most part, simple everyday ingredients.  The meal plan is great for people who are trying to lose weight.

This book as rescued me from fast food drive-thru hell! It’s a god send, the recipes are great, I’ve only prepared about 30 of them, but I can’t wait to eat my way through the whole book. I wish there were more images of the dishes, the few they have are beautiful and I like to compare my dishes to the text. Don’t let the ‘Low Fat’ in the title fool you, these dishes are great!

This book is a good simple book for new cooks, and can be a good jumping point for someone looking to try new recipes on their weight loss journey. Comes with color photos, which is nice. Very simple guidelines, so not for those looking to expand their recipes. The 30 minute time frame can be a bit restrictive on the quality of meal, but overall a very good purchase.

This recipe book was so great with examples of low fat foods  to keep on hand and some that you should not as a low fat diet. Some low fat foods could be turkey bacon, ground turkey, fat free margarine or fruit puree, chicken broth, cooking wine, reduced fat cheese and fat free yogurt. Chicken skin should not be part of your low fat diet. Stew meat and ribs are also high in fat and should not be part of a low fat diet. Some low fat foods to keep in the refrigerator could be apples, tomatoes, spinach, carrots, cilantro and orange juice. Some foods to keep in the freezer could be berries, broccoli, and green beans. I think the best part of this book are the low fat desserts. Some of the desserts include an eclair cake, fudge cobbler, and berry shortcake. This recipe book is a great read for anyone trying to watch what they eat and this book has a variety of recipes so you don't get bored eating the same thing over and over.

Every recipe sounds absolutely delicious! After reading this book, I immediately wanted to go into my kitchen, and start preparing some of these easy recipes. You will have everything you need by just following the shopping list given in the first chapter and the meal planning guide in the second chapter. Not only will you be ready to cook but you will have all the ingredients you need to prepare these easy mouth-watering recipes. Great book!

Anyone who knows me knows that my favorite candy bar is a Butterfinger! Luckily I came across the book, Low Fat Recipes in 30 Minutes by Shasta Press. Not only does this have one of the best desserts ever, but a low fat version, which is completely better! It’s perfect for a small family get together. I make mine and bring it to Thanksgiving! It serves about a dozen people, which is perfect for my little family. It doesn't take long to make either! You can make it, (in my case for a family get together), the night before or the second you wake up. It has a chilling time, so making it last minute isn't a problem for someone like me who takes forever to get ready, ha-ha! I definitely recommend giving this book a try and trying out some of the amazing desserts it offers!

Your family and or friends will applaud your creativity.  Terrific gift as well.

A winner – I definitely recommend!  Made the Fire Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup – easy, delicious and I had all the ingredients on hand except fresh basil leaves, I used dried instead.  Also made the Ginger Ale Pork (substituted finely diced fresh Jalapenos for the Chipotle Powder and had to purchase sugar-free Ginger Ale) – Yummy!  But it was the chapter on low-fat Desserts that really won me over!

I love this book because it shows you how to successfully cook nutritious meals while saving money and keeping to a mean plan. It is packed full of pro tips so u can plan your week out and minimize what you throw out. It is easy to stay on track with the list of ingredients to keep in your kitchen for nutritious meal plans. The recipes are quick and nutritious and I have no problem getting my entire family eating them.

Low Fat can be tasty! This book is full of recipes that give low fat cooking a facelift. I will keep the book handy for the information on how to store fresh foods for maximum life. There is a chart that tells you what to use instead of the normal high fat items easily found in the store.

I really think this book is helpful to anyone that is trying to balance the love of food with the love of a healthy body. I was surprised to see how many delicious meals can be made without all the fat and unhealthy ingredients. Cooking a hobby of mine and now I can do it without thinking  about weight gain. There are just so many recipes to choose from and they are all your favorite meals..without the extras. I have cooked a few meals so far and they taste great.

You will never go hungry after reading this book, and don't worry about putting on the pounds. It has lots of great recipes that are easy to make, look to be delicious, and are low fat. It would help if the book had more pictures. Besides that, very well organized and formatted.

If you like to try out new recipes and spend time meal planning than this book is a great option for you, probably perfect. There wouldn't be any guess work, as they provide the recipes and all you have to do is prepare. You will know exactly what you are eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also provides a food list of great low fat food options and things you should incorporate in your diet if low fat is the direction you are headed. You can even use this as your grocery list!

I was sold by the name, Low Fat Recipes in 30 mins. The low fat thing is new to me still, but who wouldn’t love to have dinner done in 30 mins. Everyone in my house loves Lasagna so I tried the Low-Fat Lasagna Rolls. They were great! I can’t wait to make them again.

The sheer variety to be found in this book is overwhelming and exciting, at the same time. My wife and I can’t wait to cook with this book (just got it today). Of course, the recipes are fast, easy and low-fat, so that’s a perk, too. Busy parents, food-lovers and fitness enthusiasts must own this book.

So many people are concerned with what goes in their body. This book is great on so many levels. It offers choices from appetizers to full entrees. I was pleasantly surprised and eager to try all of recipes in this book. Being able to have filling recipes that are quick to make is a book that everyone should have.

This was a good book for heath and on a budget.  Who even suggested using $2 ham hocks instead of meat?  It was an excellent idea to list the fat, calories, protein and carbs at the end of each recipe as well.  I used kale instead of spinach in the Minestrone soup, so there is flexibility, but the way to cook healthy and fast is MUST for people like me that never stop and need to eat right to live.

Low Fat Recipes in 30 Minutes offers fairly basic information about adapting to a low-fat diet, as well as a thorough list of items to keep stocked for easy cooking and snacking. The real value of the book, however, is the large compilation of recipes, covering a wide range of dishes that are sure to appeal to a variety of tastes. (I did receive a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.)

Don't be deceived by the burger on the cover -- this book will teach you how to make Coq Au Vin and Wine-Poached Pears. In 30 minutes! It's got the plain as well as hoity-toity recipes, and they can be done low fat. The section on snacks may be the first one I try. The last time I tried to make kale chips, I didn't have a handy recipe book to help me.

I'm not the most informed man when it comes to low-fat lifestyles, but this uncomplicated and educational book really helped me establish the basics. The Vegetarian Tamale Pie had several steps, but this fumbler managed to pull it off with happy results. Heck, I've even dropped a few pounds as a result.

I hate coming home and taking forever to cook dinner after a long day of work. This book has a lot of great money and times saving tips, a meal plan and it has a conversion chart. I am in love with the Low Fat Recipes in 30 Minutes Cookbook!

Eat Healthly  With little or No Fat: If you or someone you know is interested in eating healthy, delicious meals with a low to no fat content, this cookbook is for you. Low Fat Receipes in 30 Minutes gives over 100 plus ways to prepareany breakfast, lunch, snack, appetizer or dinner to exclude fat. One such meal is Black-Eyed Peas and Rice (or"hoppin' john) as it is called down south. It is usually  prepared with ham hocks, but the low fat way to have this dish is to add chopped reduced fat deli ham or turkey bacon. An excellent dessert is Orange Cream-Cheese Cake, a low fat, low calorie, no bake treat.made with orange marmalade, crushed pineapple over a tangy light filling similiar to cream cheese, and sweetened with your choice of sweetning.

it is interesting book that can help you stay healthy and save you money. It provide a lot of ways to cook your favorite recipes in low fat in 30 mins. It's also showed how to make those recipes. The author explained how to prepare your food ahead and comes with 14 days plan for you to follow. It is a great book to read I really enjoyed it.

Always in need of healthy, easy and fast meals to cook, I was excited to page through this book for some inspiration. But the biggest surprise for me was this cookbook's focus on value: the first chapter spends a lot of time going over how to reduce waste, use the freezer, keep a smart shopping list and other tips to help you save money on your home cooking (which is great, since a big misconception of dieting seems to be that low-fat foods can be more expensive.) I enjoyed how the book contains recipes for all meals of the day, typically with only a few quick steps. I find cooking can be intimidating, but this is an easy-to-follow set of recipes that won't leave you feeling guilty when stepping on a scale.
