More About This Book

Overview

Lucifer is his name... creating masterpieces and autographing the dead is his twisted protocol.

Homicide Detective Brian Jeffers is sent to the scene of a triple murder, where Lucifer has left a cryptic message for all to see. What Detective Jeffers uncovers tells him Lucifer is not only killing, he's using a drug to render his victims defenseless.

Jeffers enlists the help of Medical Examiner, Dr. Alan Sanderson, and his good friend and fellow investigator, Toby Wall. They provide insight into Lucifer's methodology and give Jeffers the knowledge he needs to end the madman's reign of terror.

Detective Jeffers familiarity of the criminal mind is certain to be tested, as Lucifer decides to pinpoint someone close to Jeffers to add to his collection. Will the intelligent and devious killer be caught, or slip back into the darkness undetected?

    Luficer's Masterpiece

Met the author in person and it is his first book. He is open to opinions and/or suggestions so that he can make his books even better. I feel any author willing to listen to critiques is an author that has great potential.

I also agree somewhat with the first reviewer in it could have slowed down and brought the reader deeper into the story by addressing the main characters a little more of who and what the heck is this all about.

Great outline author just needs to slow down and make sure to treat readers with some intelligence.

I wouldn't give up on this author just yet he seemed to be very dedicated and willing to revise and let his work mature.

    Stay with it Jeff!!

    Terrible

I AM an avid reader, and I mostly read murder mystery/suspense novels. It was very hard to read, especially with the overuse of italicized words and bad punctuation. The dialogue was not well written. In real conversations, a person does not say the other person's name every time he/she utters a sentence. The characters were not well developed and nothing was really believable (like the killer drugging victims AND collecting something from them and just choosing them at random.) No back story, and the content was not very well researched. Choppy at best, the story did not flow smoothly. More editing would have been appropriate before ever considering publishing this.

    Great Read!!!!!

This book is great!!! I am not much of a reader and I could not put this book down. It is a must buy! I can not wait to see if there will be another to follow. For a first time writer Jeffrey Martin this was excellent work.
