Overview

Hi, I’m Muriel, the only white sheep in a sea of black ones, and a virgin to boot. I am determined to wait for love, but my Dad, more commonly known as Lucifer, just wants me to stop being an embarrassment. I’m hoping the hunk I met in my bar will turn out to be the one–just looking at him makes my insides melt like marshmallows over the coals of Hell, but trusting is hard when it seems everyone I get close to ends up trying to kill me.

Not only am I dealing with an extreme case of lust, there’s a new threat in Hell, one my Dad says to ignore. Something easier said than done since it seems everywhere I turn demons are trying to kill me. But I’m okay with that, because one thing I’ve learned being a princess of Hell is that sometimes I have to grab a demon by the horns and slap it around a bit.

A rebellion in Hell, demon assassins and scorching kisses, could my life get any more interesting?

    Spicy Funny Quirky!

Lucifer’s Daughter by Eve Langlais is spicy, silly, cute, and just plain hysterical sometimes! Imagine having Dad drop in at any time, with his words of wisdom and his constant nagging about how you should live your life, okay, so maybe some of us already know what that’s like, but it’s all out of love, right? Father knows best, right? What if your father was Lucifer, yep, THE Lucifer, Ruler of Hell and he’s completely exasperated because you won’t give up your virginity until you find true love? That’s what Satana Muriel Baphomet (Muriel to her friends) faces daily from her father and she is sticking to her guns, holding out for her hero. When she’s bitten by the love bug and gives it up to the dark and mysterious Auric, why isn’t Daddy pleased? Seriously, the daughter of Lucifer has finally fallen, done the deed…with one of the last beings her father would approve of! But when there is a dastardly plot to overthrow the devil, who do you think will save the day?

Eve Langlais has taken paranormal erotica to a new plane with her humorous dialogue, fast pace and quirky characters!

    ONE HELL OF A BOOK

Lucifer’s Daughter was a fast paced laugh riot and a charismatic father - daughter duo that are quite unforgettable. This mismatched father – daughter duo is what really sold me on to the series. I loved how Satan was a frustrated daddy begging his daughter to go out and be sinister and promiscuous. But as much as he grumbled about Muriel not being vile enough it’s clear to the reader that he cares deeply for his daughter.

The story itself was a bit predictable (at least for me) but it was very well written and I loved the relationships Langlais has created with her characters. I liked the aspect of the villains trying to over throw the devil. For paranormal lovers who are looking for something a little bit different from your standard vampire, werewolf or demon tales, then I would definitely recommend the Princess of Hell series. It’s a fun, fast and witty read. You can’t help but like the characters, especially the Devil himself. I mean seriously, for me to say that I liked the Devil in this story says a lot about what a fantastic story the author has created.

    Exciting and hot!

“… Couldn’t you at least sin a little? You’re supposed to be a princess of Hell.”

And with that we meet Lucifer. Satan. The One and Only. The Big Bad. And let me tell you, he is awesome. And in this story Satan is a dad. And he is funny and snarky and quick-witted, just like his daughter, Muriel. Sure, he’s still got a job to do running Hell and all, but he also has a 23 year old daughter to look after, and she is a hand full!

Meet Muriel. She still holds her V-card, but she owns a bar. She wants to make it on her own, and she wants to make it with a man (but don’t tell her dad, he’d be elated!) Ok, so those are two different versions of “make it” but who is counting? So when Mr. Gorgeous and Full of Hotness himself walks into her bar, she’s left breathing a little heavy.

Let’s meet Auric. Everything about him is best left for you to find out. But I will tell you he is hot, scarred, and he makes me wish I was Satan’s daughter too.

I loved this story! It had everything that I look for. Funny and smart woman? Check. Super-freakin-hot man? Check. Danger and intrigue? Check. Impossible situations, secrets and intense heat? Check check check! In a great style I have quickly come to associate with all things Eve Langlais, Lucifer’s Daughter knocks this one right out of the park. And Muriel has a rocking fashion sense on top of it all. Demons, hellhounds, succubi, shifters, angels, and more.

I found Auric to be a formidable match for Muriel. I love him. From his very beginning gruffness, to an unusual display of love set to music (ahem, which was all too perfect after Googling to get the scoop for myself), to his alpha personality and bottomless love for Muriel. And he has a scar. Scars are definitely sexy, maybe even more so than tattoos! Auric doesn’t show all of his cards at once, he slowly lets out his wonderfulness. And I’m hooked. I want to read a hundred books all set around this green eyed, raven haired beauty of a man.

Muriel is perfectly written. She is a tough girl, and she is smart. She wants to be independent, but she is still her father’s daughter. She has weapons and power, and great style. Her family (which is sizable) loves her. She lit up the pages with her wit and attitude. Her past has secrets that I can’t wait to get the answers to – like who is her mother??

I loved this book that I went right to Amazon and purchased the next in the series, Snowballs in Hell. So stay close for a review of that in the upcoming weeks, and also the Freakn’ Shifters series which I have coming up too!

Ok, one more quote from Lucifer’s Daughter:

“You’re making me look like a bad parent. My minions in Hell are laughing at me. There have even been rumors I’m no longer fir to be the Father Of All Sin, since I can’t even control my own daughter.”

    Love it!

    Sexy and fun reading

I really enjoyed this sexy-hot-romance-fantasy book. The plot required some suspension of disbelief. But, so do most fantasy stories involving mythical creatures I found myself not wanting to set this book down, even to sleep.

The romance between the main characters was sweet, sexy, funny, and heart-warming. There was a sense of mystery (especially when introducing characters and sub-plots) that was skillfully revealed throughout the book. The ending left me wanting more.

The characters were so likeable and funny. A sense of humor permeated the book, and made it that much more enjoyable.

I cannot wait to read a sequel. Dear author, please don't leave us readers hanging, make this into a series.

Muriel is the daughter of Lucifer but she isn't like the others.

Muriel is the daughter of Lucifer but she isn't like the others. She is a virgin ans her dad wants her to sin like the rest of his family. While working in her bar she comes across Auric and he is the one guy she may just let her sin. While he heats up her blood she also has to worry as their seems to be a lot of Demons trying to kill her. Her dad tells her not to worry that he has it under control but she has to wonder if he really does and what the new threat to his kingdom has to do with her. She may be the Princess of Hell dealing with her lust but she won't let that stop her from helping out those she cares about.

Muriel is just so freaking awesome! She is the daughter of Lucifer so you know she gets awesome points for that. She has a strange family that is constantly trying to get her to sin and be part of the family. She runs a bar and has a strange power even she doesn't understand. She is very sexy and has only had her thoughts so far on how to deal with them. Auric isn't prepared for Muriel when he meets her. She is nothing like what he thought she would be. Auric has a secret of his own but he can't help fall for Muriel. I think he does pretty good even when faced with pesky relatives.

If you have never read an Eve Langlais book and you like a hot story with a great plot I would recommend you pick one up. This one is so good. Of course you get the sexiness of the book but there is so much more. I love Muriel and the thought of one of Lucifer's kids not being a sinner is awesome. Lucifer will crack you up trying to get her to lose her virginity. It is weird in some ways but you have to think it is Lucifer. He butts in at the oddest times. Auric has to figure out what he wants to do and how he feels and all the while deal with Lucifer being there. So you get some laughter as well. Don't worry if you like action there is that as well. There is always someone after Muriel and she tries her best to take care of them on her own. She is unique and has more power than she knows. How she gets her power is fun to read about as well. I love how she won't stand back and is willing to jump in and fight as well. If you love a paranormal story that is very hot bit still manages to make you laugh at times pick this one up.

Muriel is a bartender who also happens to be smoking hot.  But boy does she have some secrets.  She isn’t just your normal bartender.  She just so happens to have a pretty famous father.  Who you wonder…well none other than Lucifer himself.   He has been a bit peeved that she hasn’t been defiled yet and is constantly nagging her about it.  But she has decided she will save her virginity till she finds “the one”.

When a trio of some pretty hot guys show up in Muriel’s bar she gets a little flustered with one of them.  His name is Auric.  Something is different about him.  And his friends for that matter.  But what exactly is Auric?

This book was AWESOME!  I laughed so hard at times that I cried…and some of the scenes were smoking!  And not just cause hell was involved in this book lol.  I will not sit here and ruin the book for you all by telling you what happened but I will say you don’t want to miss this book.  It was a great read and I am looking forward to reading more of this series.  I highly recommend it!
