Everything you could ever want from a Lucy book

I have a feeling people are going to buy more than one copy of this book because it is going to be THE go to reference guide for anything to do with Lucy. Lucille Ball FAQ has the answers to just about any question ever asked about Lucille Ball and then some!1 And there are great, rare pictures too! No library on film or television would be complete without a copy of this book.

Yawn, Boring! Already Known Lucy Facts Being Published Yet Again!

This book is titled "Lucille Ball FAQ: Everything Left to Know About America's Favorite Redhead"..... ok well if you're a Lucy fan to start with, everything in this book is OLD NEWS. Nothing fresh has been "discovered" or is discussed. You can save your $ and google whatever facts you want to know. You'd be better off.

The first part of the book begins with the arrogant writer describing how he was an INFANT when Lucy passed. He also goes into describing how he watched I Love Lucy, BLAH BLAH BLAH, YAWN! So pretty much...yet another leach profiting off of Lucy's success. To be honest, people bought this book because of Lucy. Not to hear some lame stories, of a Joe Schmo's childhood recalling. No one cares.

Sorry for the harsh review, but it honestly makes me sick that people believe they can pile together a bunch of "FAQ's" and this garbage gets published. It's a total let down, to fans that actually appreciate Lucy's legacy.

Highly, highly recommended! There's so much here you won't find anywhere else!

I've been a major Lucy fan for years and years and I thought I knew it all. This book, "Lucille Ball FAQ," made me change my mind. I've read probably every book written about Lucy and seen all the documentaries, but this books has details and information that aren't found anywhere else. I completely disagree with an earlier review that says there are no new facts here. There most certainly are. It's an interesting, lovingly written book about America's favorite redhead.
