Overview

Jenny Humphrey has attended some crazy parties at Waverly Academy, but none as hot as the bash at Miller farm, where the barn went up in flames. Literally. So when Dean Marymount announces that someone is going to be expelled, it's every owl for him- and herself.

Tensions are rising, rumors are flying, and pretty soon everyone is a suspect. Jenny is worried about her adorable, shaggy-haired new crush, Julian, whose lighter was found at the scene of the crime. Callie is afraid she and Easy will both get kicked out, because they were in the barn-together-when it caught fire. And Tinsley knows she'll take the heat for organizing the wild party in the first...

And Tinsley knows she'll take the heat for organizing the wild party in the first place.Luckily she's come up with a way to keep from getting in trouble: by blaming Jenny. Of course.

After all, Waverly's girls always fight fire with fire. But watch out, ladies-in a battle like this, someone's bound to get burned.

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
For readers who want more "New York Times Bestselling Series" fluff, here is title five of the tabloid-quality "Gossip Girls." Waverly Academy is the by-now familiar setting for recreational sex, deception, lying, vengeance, alcohol (including under-age drinking ), blackmail, gutter language (all of the four-letter words with some five-letter words added just for effect), and other adolescent mayhem. In this tale, Tinsley Carmichael is scheming to rid the campus of Jenny Humphrey and to dispose of her victim is not above reminding Dean Marymount of his own nasty little secrets. Easy and Callie are rolling in the hay and losing their virginity while Kara and Brett are looking for privacy to express their lesbian bonds to each other. Floating around the edges of all of these intriguing relationships are not-so-subtle commercials for Ralph Lauren, the Gap, L.L. Bean, Yves St. Laurent, LeTigre, Polo, Costume National, Cartier, Banana Republic, BMW, just to mention a few brands, dropped in at the oddest places. This title is part of the "Gossip Girls" series. more from this reviewer

This book was probally my frist It Girl book...but regardless i completely ADORED IT!

Lucky i beleave left of from the 4th book in the series about the Barn cathcing on fire. And how Callie and Easy got back together.
Well in Lucky the stake's are higher and someone's BOND to get exspelled
from Waverly Academy. All because because of one fire inicident. But who
    could it be?
Yet the person that seemed to start the whole thing made all the blame
travel toward's new girl Jenny Humphrey.Something i did'nt expect until the end.
Lucky was so good,it was quite hard for me to put the book down.
But still looking forward to reading the first book.I wanna know how it all worked out!
    Lucky everyone!
    I suggest you read!
Because i sure fealt LUCKY when i picked up this book.
