Overview

Peter Lyles was unremarkable in life but unforgettable in death. After overdosing, Peter's friends almost bring him back to life, turning him into a zombie with the help of "sex-magic" Voodoo. His unforgettable adventure takes him from bedroom to bedroom, giving him a career as the hottest gigolo not quite alive, while he denies his hunger for human flesh. At times humorous, at times touching, but always sexy, sexy, sexy--Lucky Stiff will leave you wanting more. Peter's just that good.

"Lucky Stiff tells a tale of Peter, a nerdy young man on a fascinating journey. It is a journey filled with frustration, sadness, the search for happiness, understanding, and love as he grows to maturity as a man. He just so happens to be dead. Tonia Brown has managed to pull off no mean feat by making the reader grow attached to this young undead gigolo with a romantic streak a mile wide and a non-beating heart of gold."

~ Patrick D'Orazio, author of The Dark Trilogy

Peter Lyles has the luck of a dead Irishman. A shy, bookish kid, Peter goes on vacation with some friends. Due to an innocent mistake, Peter has an overdose and winds up dead. Afraid that they will be blamed for Peter's death, his friends seek out the help of a local voodoo priestess, who brings him back to life. Well--not all the way back to life. Peter returns to the living as a sentient zombie. With the help of the vodoo priestess, he learns to use his (abundant) appetite for sexual energy to satisfy the need to eat flesh in the carnivorous sense. If you take a chance on Ms. Brown's tale of death, life, and lust, you'll find yourself rooting for Peter. The characters are lovable, witty, and plain fun. A tale for people who are not looking for the average zombie, Peter satisfies on many levels.
