Meet the Author

Through painting and drawing classes at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Matt was obsessed with the pantheon of monsters in his sketchbooks. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Drawing, he moved from Wisconsin to California, hoping to market his surreal art.

He also sought other avenues for producing and presenting art, especially that which included monsters. After the chore of animation classes, and abandoning that arduous avenue, Matt rediscovered his penchant for writing. So, of course, he writes about monsters.
