Overview

In eight seconds Dalton Merrill's professional bull riding days—and the fame he enjoyed—ended. When the adrenaline-junkie returns to Lone Creek Ranch to heal, he discovers a single reckless romp with sweet Emilee Walker has left her with more than a little heartbreak. She’s carrying his child. The last thing he wants is to be tied down with a wife and a son.

Emilee Walker trusted Dalton with her heart, and he left her for the rodeo. She wanted Dalton to return home, but not like this. Now she wonders if it's responsibility or love that holds him on Lone Creek. This time she vows to show him what family ties and faith in God really means.

A sweet foolow-up to Lost in Lone Creek. Dalton Merrill is the cutest cowboy yet!

Lullaby in Lone Creek is the second book in the Lone Creek Ranch Series, and a little slice of heaven.

This book has great conflict and the characters are so engaging I couldn't put it down. I really wanted to hate Dalton, but ended up loving him just as much as Emilee (well, almost)!

Loved it, and so glad there are two more books coming in this series. Can't wait to read them, too!

So good I read it in one sitting. A great follow-up to Lost in Lone Creek. Dalton Merrill is every bit as lovable as his older brother Carson.

Dalton Merrill. Emilee Walker. Lone Creek Ranch. And a writer who knows how to make a story come alive. Kudos to Mary Manners for a heartwarming, emotionally gripping addition to the Lone Creek Ranch series. This author is unwaveringly consistent in producing wonderful storylines and three-dimensional characters, and then wrapping them around a reader’s heart in such a way that they can never be forgotten. Dalton and Emilee walked into my heart and set up housekeeping. Not a full-length novel, but a stellar novella with heart and soul packed into every page. Truly good writing! I look forward to the next installment of the Lone Creek Ranch saga.

Wow! You want to talk about conflict? This story is just filled with it. Dalton's opening words to Emilee are terrible. The tension Emilee was already feeling just cranks even tighter. But what she doesn't see is that Dalton is all rough on the outside while his insides are a bundle of emotion. Yeah, he's the kind of cowboy you hate to love, but can't help yourself. All I can say is Ms. Manners has done it again. From the opening page she wrapped her characters around me and didn't free me until "The End". Great story!

Wow, I cannot say enough about how much I LOVED this book. Dalton Merrill is a man redeemed and Emilee Walker is just the woman to tame him. GREAT!!!
