Meet the Author

William Hanley, who retired from writing for the Financial Post in 2011 after 17 years of writing columns and a total of 43 years in the news business, produced more than 250 Lunch Money pieces from 2000 to 2007. He says he rarely met a meal or a luncheon guest he didn't like. Bill chose these columns for their diversity of high-profile guests, restaurants and locations. And he says it's intriguing to look back at what people were saying in light of the events surrounding the early 2000s. Meantime, he says, savour the flavours. Enjoy!
