Overview

Book 1 in the Lunewulf series.

An unexpected human attack on a lunewulf pack has led to devastating losses, leaving the pack with very few single females old enough to mate. Drastic measures must be taken. Lunewulf law goes into effect, stating that every female shall have three males for her mates. If the matings aren't consummated in thirty days, the males die.

Nik Alexander knows Sophie Rousseau is his. The entire pack knows it. He's sniffed after her since high school, and now it's time to approach his pack leader and ask that Sophie be his mate. But with the new law in effect, Nik must share Sophie with two other males.

Nik is an honorable lunewulf. He won't turn away from his pack. As much as he wants to rip the throat out of his pack leader, he will respect the new law. Lukas Kade and Jonathan Abram may have Sophie, but only under Nik's terms.

Reader Advisory: This story contains a scene of menage-a-trois sex.

    batcrapcrazy

its not romantic in the slightest, but very interesting. in a really messed up way! The werewolf word for a female is way too redundant and the girl is really stupid, but still, its an ok book.

    Super hot!

Sophie and Nik 's love is all they needed to get through a crazy new pack law that forces Sophie to have three mates instead of just one. Super sexy read!

    Not worth the effort

Didn't care for the anti-feminist language--couldn't get past the second chapter.

    Boring love story.

This novel could've been more enjoyable if the writing was better. The theme itself is interesting as far as erotic paranormal romances go, but the way the events are described (how the heroine ends up having to mate with three men, only one of which she really loves) is unnecessarily long yet lacking many key details which makes the story drag forever. I'm glad I only bought the 1st one on the series because it took me too long and a lot of will power to get through it. I really don't like to judge until I finished the book but this was really a poorly developed story. The dialogues and interactions between the characters are dry almost as if we were reading about animals going on instinct in the wild and not half human half wolf beings with more profound emotions. I feel that the point of a romance (even one about werevolves) is that the reader can relate somehow to the characters. I found myself annoyed at all of them and towards the end, it was hard to care much who ended up with whom. If anyone is interested in more interesting and enjoyable shifter or were novels, I would recommend other writers such as Laurann Dohner, Lauren Dane, Lora Leigh, Pamela Palmer, Dana Marie Bell and my favorite Shelly Laurenston (whose novels are hilarious yet full of hot romance, strong male and female characters and "can't put it down" plots.

Way too much wolf and not enough human. We all know what a fema

Way too much wolf and not enough human. We all know what a female dog is. What it is not, is a term of endearment. The concept of a society that is more animal than human is interesting, but it rubbed me the wrong way. The main H/h, Nik and Sophie, just didn't grab my attention. There was nothing really to like about them even though I didn't hate them. They were just...blah, which is worse in my opinion. I am actually much more interested in Elsa/Johanne's story. I'm just hesitant to get the book since I didn't really like this one. Plus, I was upset that the book ended with way too many unanswered questions.

    I've read better

I have read many shifter books, and this one doesn't keep my interest. I have been able to put the book down for long periods of time before picking it up again. I am going to finish, just to finish the book.

It was pretty good, but kind of derrogatory towards women. Probably won't pay for the rest, at least this one was free.

Not the type of read I expected this to be. Didn't find the characters easy to like. How do I ask for a refund?

Loved it , but one small problem

I loved the story .I wish it was longer . My only problem was that the male charactor didn't have to call the female charactor B#tch all the time . He used it like it was her name, and he knew her real name . I now they are wolves, and a female mate is refered to as his B#tch, but i got the hint after the second time hecalled her as such. It would have been nice if he used her name more. It would have helped things in the romance department a little.
