I got a huge kick out of this book. I especially loved the article regarding which apron to wear for which occasion. I remember my mother having several types of aprons to wear to Ladies Aid functions. I gave this to a fellow Lutheran friend who is recovering from a stroke & she had so much fun reading it. I think any church lady will like this book but especially those of us who happen to be of the Lutheran faith.

If you've grown up in 'small town America' you know all of these people. Maybe the names are changed to protect the ....well, whatever. It shows all the love and concern these ladies share with each other and those around them with a great deal of humor. I laughed until I cried over parts and cried until I laughed over others.
