This book is an apprentiship with a master luthier!

Though this book consists of less than ninety pages, it is filled with invaluable information and insights from an experienced luthier and inventor. Roger Siminoff is nearly generous to a fault in his analysis of what makes a great sounding acoustic instrument and most importantly, how to achieve it. He approaches the "art" of luthiery from a "scientific" perspective, and has devised experimental protocols that test the theories of luthiery. Some of his conclusions actually disagree with accepted dogma. This book is an apprentiship with a master! In addition, Mr. Siminoff was gracious enough to answer some questions I posed him in an email!
