    Amazing

The patterns in this book are an upgrade to most knit magazines. The beauty and the sophistication are both exquisite. Buy it now and start making garments like you have never made before.

    Not For The Beginner!

I bought this as a gift for my Mom, who is a lifelong knitter. She has tackled anything and everything with a pair of needles (sometimes more than 2 at a time!). She has made basic scarves, argyle socks (almost impossible) and COATS! Yes, COATS! However, even she admitted that this book is not exactly filled with practical projects. There are lovely shrugs that would look great on a size 2, dainty purses that require a metal frame, and EARRINGS! When is the last time you whipped up a pair of earrings for your big Saturday night out? Despite this level of impracticality, she did not want me to return it. She added it to her collection, telling me that even if she never makes any of the projects in this book, she will look at it for inspiration and ideas. So, as a gift for the hardcore it might make sense. If you are looking for something to do on a Sunday afternoon, maybe not so much...

    Beautiful Designs

I purchased the book because I wanted to make the shrug on the cover for work. Ultimately the book has lovely items that I may also make.
I haven't used the patterns yet so I can't speak to the accuracy or ease of pattern design and directions.

I fell in love with the sweater with the cape shoulder and that is surely on my list for this winter when I complete all my Christmas gifts and get around to making something for myself.

The only negative is that I wish all pattern books were spiral bound.

    Really stylish

Beautiful looking book, almost didnt recognize it as a knitting book.
Great looking models and designs, unfortunately most are intermediate and advanced. Scary for an advanced beginner like me. But I will keep the book for inspiration and an "easy" pattern for earrings using beaded wire, right up my alley!
