Meet the Author

Judith Durant is the editor of One-Skein Wonders, 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders, Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders, and Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders. She is also a founding editor of Interweave Knits magazine and the author of Never Knit Your Man a Sweater* (*unless you've got the ring!). Her designs and articles have appeared in Interweave Knits, Beadwork, and Piecework. She lives in Massachusetts and can be found at judithdurant.com.

    Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders

    Lots of great ideas for those one skeins left over. If you are one of those who has a nice stash of yarns w/little luxury yarns that were too expensive to buy in bulk but just had to have just one, this book will be the answer to those one-skein wonders.

    Great book for knitters!

    This book has given me ideas to use with one skein of yarn. Where was this book when I had a bunch of one skeins laying around waiting for some inspiration from me?

    Great book for those luxury yarns we all love

    I love this book! I have a soft spot for fancy wools, but don't have a pocketbook to match. This way I can get one skein and make a nice gift or treat myself. Nice projects that are useful, not a bunch of pincushions or whatever that so many other books like this have for patterns. If you don't like lace knitting you might not be so enamored, but if you do then this is a good book for you.

    Good

    I am sure the book will be well used, but not usable at tahis time. There is a page that has been torn out. Can it be returned to a store and exchanged for another copy of the same book?
