Ok I must admit I often find myself becoming sadly dissapointed when reading any book under150 pages. Rarely do authors actually succeed in grabbing a reader and have them care of the characters. A big congrats to Jaci for writing a "shortish" story that didnt feel rushed and didnt end abrubtly. I loved reading each page as the romance between two strong independent leaders unfolding. There were plenty of pages hot sex and even some great sword weilding battles. Thank you Jaci for succeeding where so many other authors have failed.

Lycan was a true warrior, leader and sexy, Starr was a very firce warrior as well and a good leader to her people even though most of the time she spoke about freedom (whole point of the book) which got a little annoying at times it was still interesting to read about both characters. I hope there will probably be but I don't think there will be a story for lycan's friend Tor and Starr's cousin Rhia. I must say though Tor did get annoying sometimes heheheh but it was a good book and read for me and I love the bit of action in the end.
