    obviously not something the first lady understands or knows how ta 'preciate-- that is it's obvious she would be lowering herself to give it an honest read and unbiased literary review. dylan stands out against the lump sum of published songwriters in so many ways-- his lyrics surely come alive when he delivers them, but too, they stand on their own if they had to-- this volume showcases that well. Also notable is the varying approach to lyric writing chronicled throughout the dylan's everchanging life and career.

    great entertainment!

    just imagine to put any important Dylan's album, search for it's edition year in the book, and enjoy that poetry at the rithm of the music. That's what this book offers. This compilation of Dylan's songs is organized year by year, and in the exactly way each song appears in the album, so you can easily find any song and learn that "word" that you can't tell in Dylan's singing.
    You can also read the book as a modern poetry book, written by one of the most significant voices of the post-war generation.

    Great Resource

    Although you can find these lyrics on the internet, it's nice to have them all in one book for browsing and for following along while listening to Bob's music. The lyrics are sorted by album chronologically, including songs that didn't appear on the albums from the time period of each album.

    That being said, it's the lyrics, photos from the album cover artwork, and nothing else. There is no recording information or commentary on any of the songs.
