MARRY IN CONVENIENCE...

All her adult life Lacey Bravo had loved Logan Severance, but the good doctor--always hell-bent on doing the right thing--had never even made an improper advance toward her. Well, maybe one, about nine months ago. So the about-to-be single mom knew Logan would come after her, demanding marriage. It was just a question of when....

LOVE IN LEISURE?

Logan knew, the minute Lacey answered the door, stomach-first, that she had to marry him. But first things first--there was a baby to be born! There'd be time enough afterward to convince her that what began out of necessity could turn into love. And to convince himself, as well...

Library Journal
Pregnant as the result of an impulsive five-day fling nine months earlier, Lacey Bravo is determined not to marry a man who is on the rebound from her sister and, therefore, couldn't possibly love her even though he is the baby's father. But Dr. Logan Severance knows what is right, and he isn't about to take "no" for an answer, especially when he has come all the way to Wyoming from California to convince Lacey to do just that! An independent heroine who meets life on her own terms, an upstanding, caring hero who doesn't recognize true love when he finds it, and a situation overflowing with built-in internal conflict result in a warm, satisfying story with a dusting of humor (e.g., the hilariously tender proposal scene) and surprisingly effective sexual tension, considering that the heroine is pregnant (or postpartum) for a large part of the book. This is the latest in Rimmer's "Bravo" family series. Rimmer (Practically Married) lives in Oklahoma. Copyright 2000 Cahners Business Information.\

We were introduced to Lacey Bravo and Logan Severance in *The Millionaire She Married*. Logan has loved Lacey for many years but he didn't know it! He thought he loved her sister. Lacey knows she loves Logan and they had one memorable weekend of love when Logan was jilted by Jenna. Lacey doesn't want to marry Logan without his love and runs to the family ranch. Logan follows in time to deliver the baby and insists to marry Lacey. Tess and Zack from *Practically Married* are also in this book. Logan is such a straight-arrow that he finally has to learn to bend to show Lacey his love. Lots of good characters around Lacey and Logan. Some are real characters! I liked this book!
