Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Chock full of information, this picture book provides a wealth of information about the state of Massachusetts. Four-line rhymes introduce important people and aspects of the state for each letter of the alphabet. Reading just these rhymes and looking at the illustrations would satisfy young children. Sidebar expositories provide additional facts and details for older students. Although Massachusetts is one of the smallest states, it is one of the richest in history. Readers of all ages will discover fascinating facts in both the text and the beautifully detailed illustrations. An important addition to books on the state. 2002, Sleeping Bear Press, Ages 6 to 10.

    SUPER BOOK!!!

As a mom & former teacher I loved this book for both mom's & teachers. The pictures are great & the facts are very interesting & can be adapted for all ages. My 4 & 2 years olds both loved it. I want to read the whole series to them now & get it for our home library to use when I go back to teaching. These are 'keeper' books all the way!!!
