M is for Mitten is Magnificent!!

The illustrations in this book are wonderful. You probably enjoy it a lot more if you have Michigan ties, but as an adult I fell in love with it, and my daughters felt the same

    Precious Book

I bought this book actually as an idea for a wedding guestbook, because the groom is from MI. The art through the pages is outstanding and it is a precious read. We aren't going to use it for the wedding but we are keeping it for our kids =)

Great to share your state with out of town friends!

I have bought this book as a gift many times. I have sent it to Thailand, as a baby gift, to share the state that the Mother had visited while working with me. I have given it as a going away present for a young child as they were moving to another state, to remind them of their days in Michigan. I have placed it in gift baskets for vistors with children from out of town, so they can enjoy learning about the state they are visting. I also have taken it as a gift to other countries as a token of something personal from my homeland. It is a fun book and can be enjoyed by almost any age. I even learned things about the State that I was probably taught in school, but had forgotten.

    Wonderful book for all ages!

I have purchased this book for every toddler I know. My boyfriend's nephew is 2 and ABSOLUTLY loves it. He has to read it every night before he goes to bed! There is more detailed history and information for the kids to read as they get older too! I recommend this book as a must have for every kid growing up in Michigan (heck, I learned a lot about Michigan the first time I read it too - and I have lived here for 30 years!!!)

    The illustrations are superb!

M is for Michigan is a wonderful way to introduce your children to things they need to know about Michigan! There are also other books in this 'series' that help to introduce your child (and yourself) to other states. The illustrations are superb! You will also enjoy the book titles listed below. These books all are illustrated by Michael Glenn Monroe and are bright, colorful and visually intriguing. Happy Reading!

    Great Concept Book!

This is a very inventive way to show young children all Michigan has to offer. Older readers may find the poetry a little too childish, but overall this book will work for all ages.
