All Music Guide - Thom Jurek
The indefatigable Johnny Hallyday lays out a balance of pop chansons, power ballads and rockers on Ma Vérité ("My Truth"). Mixed by the ubiquitous Philippe Weiss, Hallyday comes out of the box swinging on the opener and lead single "S'il N'Est Pas Trop Tard." He glams it up on "La Pais," with enormous '80s-style guitars, and scales back to gorgeous acoustic balladry on "Mon Plus Beau Noël." Despite its slickness in production, Hallyday's voice is in utterly astonishing form, and without the help of Auto-Tune. The material is well-written and chosen. This is a great example of what makes Hallyday a legend.

Like New - FAST Ship!! This CD comes from a private collection of a millionaire Chemist from the DuPont Company. Due to the massive size of this collection it is more likely that ... the CD was only played one time. The cases from this collection still have the shiny new feeling but may have a ding or two from the way the auction company packed them. Read more Show Less

    The Legend

Don't ask me why, but i hate him. He just start his career when i'm born. He is a part of my life because I always listen him on radio on saw him on TV screen. I'm French and i hate Johnny Hallyday. The French king of rock! Here in France he is the legend,(legend of what?). The idol. Tell something bad about this guy and it's a scandal. He is the best! the greatest! Sorry not for me. And i love rock, but John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen are the rock'n'roll. And of course about this record? Buy if you want. I hate his voice, I hate Johnny Hallyday!!!!!!
