Explains OSX 10.6 so I can understand it.

Your new computer no longer comes with any instruction book to help you understand how to do things! Good reference for workings of the operating system just in case you have problems. Good reference book should you need knowledge on why things are not operating correctly.

    Good for Switchers

I switched from a PC to a Mac and thought I might become a more empowered user because of the book. I found the book very useful for learning a few tricks and tips that are not apparent in OS X. The fact that I don't have to go looking for the info is nice but there are not many things in the book that I personally needed to learn to make my Mac perform.
