Meet the Author

Well, I hope that helped. I feel like a walking fact book on Macalester and the surrounding areas now, and I love it. Writing this book has been a great opportunity for me to learn many new things about the college and the Twin Cities. Nowadays, my friends turn to me when they're looking for advice on what to do on a Saturday night. I also greatly appreciate the chance I got to put my love of writing to a practical and (hopefully) helpful use through this guidebook. I am currently majoring in English with an emphasis on creative writing, and I am the features editor for the Mac Weekly. I can't tell where the future will bring me yet, but if I ever make it big, maybe this guidebook will become a collector's edition and I'll make you rich—hold on to it!
