About the Author

P. C. GOPE (Ph.D., National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur) is Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the College of Technology, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. With over two decades of teaching experience, he has published/presented 63 research papers in reputed national and international journals/conferences. A recipient of the Sir Rajendra Nath Mukherjee Memorial Award for his best research paper by the Institution of Engineers (India) in 2004, Dr. Gope has worked on five industry and CSIR-sponsored research and investigative projects.
