She’d never been lucky in love…until she met him.

If it weren't for bad luck, Meg Williams wouldn't have any luck at all. Enduring the trip from hell, she arrives on Eden Isle only to discover that her hotel reservation has been lost and there are no vacancies anywhere on the island. Disheartened, Meg heads for the hotel bar.

Rob Madison is used to being in the limelight due his wealth and power. Used to being pursued by women for his fortune. When he meets Meg and realizes she doesn't know who he is, he decides to spend the evening as a regular guy. Discovering she doesn’t have a place to stay, he offers to share his penthouse with her.

Meet the Author

Writing a book was number one on Mari’s bucket list and on her thirty-fourth birthday, she set out to see that goal achieved. Now her computer is jammed full of stories — novels, novellas, short stories and dead-ends. A New York Times and USA Today bestseller as well as winner of the Passionate Plume, Mari found time for writing by squeezing it into the hours between 3 a.m. and daybreak when her family is asleep and the house is quiet.

You can visit Mari’s website at www.maricarr.com. She is also on Facebook and Twitter. She blogs at International Heat and hangs out on the Heat Wave Readers Yahoo group.

    A Pleasant story

I know pleasant doesn't sound exciting, but there are some "hot" times in these pages too!!

    DISSAPOINTED.

First of all it was incredibly short, also the story line was okay but definably not the best. The whole book just went to fast and it was unrealistic. It would have been better if the plot was dragged out more and they got to know eachother better. They fell in love within what, 4 days? Highly unrealistic. Everything about this book was just not good. I finished it in 1 & 1/2 hours. Its only 153 pages.

    Good read

    ## Well, first and foremost let me say that Mari Carr is one of my very favorite authors. The word brilliant comes to mind. However, this book, albeit good, felt rushed. I read it in an hour and a half. The premise was so fun, yet again too quick to develop the sexual tension and chemistry that is so customary in Mari's writings. Don't get me wrong, I adored the heroine and the hero and can still recommend this book. Be that as it may, I prefer her others such as "Kiss me Kate", "Misplaced princess", "Misplaced cowboy", her Cocktales series, her Compass series, her Wild Irish series.....holy cow she has a lot of good books. As long as you're writing Ms. Carr, I'm buying.
