Mad Men: A Musical Companion (1960-1965) collects some of those years' best examples of vocal pop and rock & roll, with a little bit of soul, bossa nova, and jazz thrown in for good measure. This is a solid, enjoyable collection, bridging Ricky Nelson's "Travelin' Man," Marvin Gaye's "Ain't That Peculiar," and Stan Getz & Charlie Byrd's "Desafinado."
