Or is the writer's investigation a danse macabre with Pat herself as the bringer of death?

About the Author

Pat Bertram, a native of Colorado, has become somewhat of a nomad, looking for adventure in whatever comes her way. Recently, she took a five-month cross-country trip in her classic VW Beetle (bought new and never replaced), and when she finishes her current works in progress, she intends to get out on the road again. And who knows, maybe she will write another "Pat" mystery based on those adventures! In addition to Madame ZeeZee's Nightmare, Pat Bertram is the author of the suspense novels: Light Bringer, More Deaths Than One, A Spark of Heavenly Fire, and Daughter Am I. Bertram is also the author of the non-fiction memoir Grief: The Great Yearning, "an exquisite book, wrenching to read, and at the same time full of profound truths."
