About the Author

The author holds a Ph.D. in Art History, an M.F.A. in painting and a B.A. in Art/English education. She taught Modern/Contemporary Art on the university level for fifteen years and lectured on the subject for twenty-five years. She served as Associate Director of the Neuberger Museum, SUNY-Purchase and as Director of Hillwood Art Museum and Public Art Program at Long Island University, C.W. Post campus. She has written three books plus numerous articles and essays and has curated over one hundred exhibitions.
