    God Bless Madonna

My hat goes off to Madonna! I have loved her since her first debut movie (a certain sacrifice). I am very pleased to see she is using all her talents to help make the world a better place. Her books are outstanding and I recommend that everyone should read them to their children. Not only for the message but to see the beautiful art. My daughter's school had them read 'The english roses' for exclusion and bullying. They also read Madonna's other stories for life lessons. If more families and schools read these stories to their children I think the next generation of children could overcome the problems we face today. I think it could bring families together. I think it could help parents teach their children better life lessons and how to be better friends.

I am aghast at this display of literary vomit

I am certified as both a general education and special education teacher, and I work now as a certified a reading specialist. I am absolutely appalled by Madonna¿s deplorable attempt at edification. It is a sad day when our children have to look to Madonna for their literature needs because she believes that there was no such thing as a ¿good children¿s book¿ until her name was among the stacks. I feel sorry for the children whose teachers prefer to bring these books into their classrooms rather than provide them with the enlightening experiences of the great authors of our time.

    Madonna review

I am floored at Madonna's writing abilities! Absolutely worthy of your purchase! I am now a much bigger Madonna fan than I have ever been because she just proved she is being creative for the sake of being creative. I know she's very creative, but you know what I mean! All proceeds are going towards children's charities! Madonna is not profiting one cent off the sales!!! She is donating 100% for children! You read that correctly! BRAVO to Madonna! Thank you for your incredible books for my kids! They love them more than Dr. Suess!!!

    BRAVO TO MADONNA

From 'The English Roses,' to 'The Adventures Of Abdi,' Madonna has proved she not only is a music legend (right up there with Elvis on Billboard with 36 top ten hits) and over 250 million albums and singles sold, she writes excellent children's books! I've bought her books for children in my family and each is loved and cherished by the children. They adore Madonna's books and I do too! In the past 20 years I believe Madonna has grown into a wonderful, beautiful lady with awesome flare for talent. The world knows how extremely wealthy Madonna is and now I see how and why she earned it...she's incredibly smart!!!

all three of these books have been a good teaching tool for me & reading them to my children is not a bad way of reminding myself of these primary rules!

    10/10 as always

Madonna's books are written beautifully, the stories are not only fun they also have meaning that is put across in a subtle way. They are beautifully illustrated and very appealing to both children and adults! She has once again proven she can do ANYTHING!

    Wonderfully Wise Lesssons...

I am a 4th grade Bilingual/ESL teacher (Houston, TX) who has used these books to teach generalization, characterization, inferencing, predicting, plot analysis, and scores of other reading skills (main idea, details, etc.) for comprehension and literary analysis (huge focus on Blooom's Taxonomy/HOTS). These books are excellent and wonderfully written! My students are 'wowed' when they discover MADONNA wrote these books! There's an instant connection to the author (a name with a face) and the stories become even more enjoyable. I especially love the moral lessons that the books portray. And this lends itself to excellent social skills lessons/discussions as well. 'Mr. Peabody's Apples' is my favorite (maybe because it was the first one I'd read). I thought the main idea/moral lesson was excellent, valuable, and has the ability to make an impact. Everyone has at one time probably experienced the woes of what a rumor (from just one person!) can do to one's reputation. 'Yakov and the Seven Thieves' is another beautifully told story that has absolutely gorgeous illustrations! It's another lesson in Life to be explored through discussion: everyone is capable of doing good deeds. 'The English Roses' is very cleverly illustrated and told. My female students like this book because they can relate to the clique-ishness of the girls in the story and jealousy. Another Life's lesson through discussion: don't judge a book by it's cover. I cannot wait for Madonna's other two books to come out! I highly recommend these books for everyone (young and old) because they make one stop and think about the moral lessons/values that are the fabric of our souls but we sometimes overlook in the hectic pace of our lives...reality check!
