This book is very informative. Laurence Gardner doesn't just say/claim what he thinks, he investigates the Vatican Archives and other sources, i.e. Various Library Archives, Inscriptions found in/on various locations. This book is not for the faint of heart/Indoctrinated people. If you seek the truth and not what the church or schools want you to believe I highly recommend this book and others that he's written. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Wow!, This is great. If you've read the Da Vinci code you'll want to read this next. It covers the historical documented facts that make Mary Magdalene the wife of Jesus in no uncertain terms. Gardiner goes right to the source. He documents every feature he explains with plates of paintings to back it up. The only thing I disagree with is his take on Leonardo's painting of the Last Supper in which we see a faminine figure next to Jesus. Gardiner says is not Mary but John. This book has written documentation from bishops, monks and others including wording in the Gospels that prove Mary was the Mother of Jesus' children. Roman Rulers tried to take out the bloodline and cover it up. It's worth a read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
