Editorial Reviews

The Lakeland Times - Joyce Laabs
"MAGGIE a must read for every pet lover ..."
US Review of Books - Deborah Straw
"...charming and heartfelt memoir ...also wise ... the author's research and knowledge should help readers act better as their dogs medical advocates ...does not end on a sad note..."
Author, 8 State Hurricane Kate - Jenny Pavlovic
"There are many books about special and beloved dogs, but this book goes much deeper than most... The reader is compelled to keep going, to sneak the book to work and get around any obstacle that would prevent one from reading straight through to the end... Dawn's awakening with regard to Maggie's health, the quality of her pet food, and the meanings of Dawn's own dreams is a remarkable part of this story."

I loved this book! It takes the love a dog deeper into your mind and soul. It brought out feelings I never knew I had for my pets. Its very well written. Maggie reminds me of my late dog Keesha. She was part Keeshond and part Australian shepherd. She was an amazing dog and a great friend. I miss her so much. This book is a good find. Bring the tissues. I highly recommend it!

This book is a must read for anyone that loves their dog. It has information in it that could help save your dogs life. This book was heartfelt and truly pulled on a few of my heart strings. I would like to say, thank you Dawn for writing this book and to MAGGIE for guiding her way. Dawn's Maggie was such an inspiration to me that I named my new puppy after her!!! I didn't finish the book. The story focuses more on the author's "dreamwork" and "possible" psychic connections with her dog and dogs generally. I was looking for a story with a little more emotion between her and her dog.
