The case throws inexperienced private eye Gray onto a convoluted course he cannot understand. The quest leads him into the dangerous underworlds of Latin America and the US, where he uncovers a conspiracy to murder a US Embassy official in El Salvador. The investigation also forces him to confront demons dating back to the Salvadoran Civil War, and long since buried in a soiled life of alcoholism and failed relationships.
Only by rescuing Maggie and Josh, can Marvin save himself.
The thriller Maggie May explores the subtle fractures between the heroic and the villainous.

Long story how I came to buy this book and I'll not bore you with details. I've read a few books in this genre and have really enjoyed some of them. This one blew my mind! Where has Marvin been hiding? He weaves an incredibly convincing story, knows his facts, how to turn a phase, when and how to interject humor, and how to keep you on the edge of your seat hardly able to wait to turn the next page. Every thing was an interruption while I had a hard time putting this book down! One of those reads that you truly "hate" to end. Marvin, please keep your head above water and out of trouble as much as you possibly can, and write the continuing saga of your misadventures. Please, please, I'm begging you, PLEASE!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
