Kate Danley has a roller coaster style of writing that keeps the action moving along! While some people have criticized her grammar and sentence structure, she actually writes the way people talk. It makes for a fun, realistic read when the characters are interacting. The main characters are deep enough to be interesting, but not dark and heavy. A good balance is achieved in giving the characters chops, but also keeping them light and enjoyable. I hope there is more coming in this series!

Maggie and Killian are hired to find out what is happening to all the ghost on the “haunted” pleasure steam ship. They soon discover they been swept into a much more nefarious plot. What I enjoy most about Maggie on the Bounty is the fun, easy, highly entertaining read Kate Danley always seems to provide. Its not a mind twisting story that takes lots of concentrations but a completely enjoyable quick read. Sometimes you just need the straight out entertainment a book can provide and Maggie on the Bounty hit that spot perfectly. We are giving an action, adventure with just enough mystery and unconventional characters that provide humor to keep you tied till the end.  Of course, I will be reading on in this series. I've already added M&K Tracking to my wish list for 2015. How could you not enjoy a book that has a warning in the synopsis: “WARNING: This book contains cussing, brawling, and unladylike behavior. Proceed at your own risk.”

I really enjoyed this book, it didn't disappoint. The whole multideminsional/otherworlds backdrop is something unique in this genre. Especially the way Kate Delaney writes it. Maggie as always is quick with a witty comment or comeback and is a quentissential a*s kicker. Killian ( that damn elf) isn't too bad himself, and I like the relationship between he and Maggie fostered by their many adventures. Can't wait to see what's next!

Maggie and Killian are hard at work trying to make rent. They are given an assignment that takes them to the Empress Adelaide, a turn of the century cruise ship. Their task is to find out why its ghosts are disappearing. Can Maggie and Killian keep a kid named Jackie safe while moving through time and space? Or will they get stuck in the past? Overall, Danley's books keep getting better and better. I really enjoyed this novel. It was a very quick read with a good story line and likable characters.

An enjoyable read. The characters are great! My only complaint is the distracting editing errors.
