Magic After Midnight
Seventeen-year-old Chasity Winston thought the hardest part of moving from Memphis to Baton Rouge would be starting over. But her new life is turned upside down when the move triggers something deep within her. A mysterious cosmic storm awakens her dormant magic, revealing a shocking heritage: she's a half-blood, descended from both a coven of light-wielders and a sinister order of shadow-magic.

This revelation thrusts her into a secret war raging in the heart of Louisiana. Chasity soon discovers her older brother, Amari, is already deeply entangled with the very darkness she's meant to fight. The Order of Night has a plan to awaken a powerful boy named Ayden, and Amari is key to their plot.

To save Ayden and dismantle the Order, Chasity must undertake a perilous mission in her new city: infiltrate the ranks of her enemies and pretend to embrace the shadows she despises. In a treacherous world of ancient prophecies and heartbreaking betrayals, Chasity must master her unique dual magic to save her family and choose her own destiny.
